Location was great next to station

Something was lacking bar and restaurant empty and felt soulless for £100 single occupancy no extra touches

Room was nice, four poster bed looked nice and was very comfortable Hotel is quite picturesque inside, has old world charm Bathroom was lovely and very newly completely redone Had a patio door onto a small roof terrace which could have been a nice extra Cooked breakfast was very good All seemed very clean Staff were professional and nice

Room only had patio doors and were locked, too tired to go downstairs and ask for keys to open it - I should have phoned from mobile No other window so unable to get fresh air, very stuffy all night Hotel has 4 levels (stories), has a lift but it only goes up to 2nd level (1st floor in UK) No phone in room Very little to do in town, nothing much in terms of cafes, just a couple of pubs - more of a town to use as a base to explore south Lakes district although would recommend going further north

I didn’t appreciate being stuck in a tiny attic room where I could barely stand up…after all I booked well in advance.

Great location rooms lovely staff brilliant

Street light right outside bedroom window so light shining in all night very thin curtains Bed very soft (too soft for us but personal preference)

Helpful staff, cycle parking, lots of breakfast options, good range of drinks in the attached pub.

Bit of traffic noise, but the main problem was the Council cutting down a tree outside from early in the morning which is unlikely to be a regular occurance.

Great location, parking just across the street in train station car park , delicious breakfast, friendly stuff, quite area, room nice and clean , comfy beds.

There was some noice in our room not constant like every few minutes bit disturbing if you’re a light sleeper.

Room was great very clean and had everything we needed to make a drink and water in the fridge was a nice touch. We spent some time in the bar area which was reasonably priced and the food was fresh and tasty would definitely eat here again. Breakfast was really nice freshly cooked and hot. Would certainly stay here again
