Port Stephens Motel

Great location to get to Nelson Bay / Shoal Bay! They had a pool but we didn’t get around to using it! Rooms were rather basic but had everything as you’d expect for a motel and great value for money for a few nights!

Cheap accommodation available during school holidays and close to the town and water. Comfy clean bedroom but basic.

Bathroom definitely beyond vintage style, mouldy. Room smells damp. Curtain falling off the ceiling. You get what you pay for.

Great location with parking on site. Hotel located just out of the main bussel of the city center but within easy walking distance. The rooms were prefect size and as described.

The pool was too cold to swim in.

Me and two other lads were off to a wedding in tanilba bay and stayed at port Stephens motel for 2 nights. The price was very reasonable and when we got there we were very happy with the facilities the motel provided. Good location easy walk into town centre, close to bars and restaurants. What made the trip was two of the guys working there Wayne was one of them and the other guy I forgot to get his number. They seemed so happy all the time and were always keen to engage in conversation which was really good to see that they wanted to ensure we were happy and had everything we needed. For a family stay over or even couple looking for a nice quite easy going motel I highly recommend port Stephens motel.

Nothing all the positives above the hotel / motel is on the older style good motel character but could do with some minor upgrades of paint maybe but overall not much for the location and price you get a lot of value for your money.
