Barrowfield Hotel

I had never been on a Daishs holiday or stayed in one of their hotels but the whole experience was great! The coach was brand new and very comfortable, the drivers were lovely and really informative. Everything ran smoothly at pick up points and organising the luggage. The hotel staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful. The meals were varied with plenty of choice and tasted lovely. The waitresses were only too glad to help with anything and were very nice. The rooms were clean and tidy, and all appliances worked. I can't fault anything! I would definitely recommend this hotel in particular and if this experience is anything to go by I would be only too happy to book at one of their other locations. Thank you for a great holiday!

Arrived with my 2 grandchildren. The check in was fine. Wanted to book dinner for that evening but were told we couldn't eat, to busy. Went up to Room 120, well where should i start, the room was dirty, found dirty cut toe nails on the bed. There were 3 of us but only 2 cups for a drink. In the bathroom 1 plastic beaker for cleaning teeth. The room had cobwebs, dust, and dirt. My grandchildren wanted to leave. The whole hotel needs a complete refurb. We had to pre-order breakfast, so you would have though it would have been ready. No. I to keep asking for my breakfast, was then told all the hot cooked items would have to brought out as the kitchen was closing. I hadn't had my cereal yet. The whole stay was a nightmare.

Disappointed overall,the main reason for this was that when we arrived on the Friday we were the lift was out of order and it happened Friday morning,this was a real inconvenience not just for us but for the many holiday people arriving that weekend,the lift was still out of order the following Tuesday when our stay ended,in that time I find it inexcusable for the lift not to have been repaired, surely they must have a call out plan for in the event of this happening,the electrics left a lot to be desired in my view in our room, cleaning was minimal when we asked for our room to be cleaned,the room certainly needs decorating it was poor with chips and marks on the walls,patio door did not lock also,manager was very pleasant though shame as hotel is in a lovely location but needs money spent on it , hopefully this will be done,but please the lift issue was just appalling to the guests that desperately needed it in use.

Location was excellent,the lift was out of order the whole time we were there, unfortunately this was unacceptable not just for us but all the people that required it, mainly elderly residents so inexcusable that it was out of order, surely must have a contract with a lift company in case of breakdowns,room needs decorating,electrics left a lot to desire in my view.

The hotel was awful, dirty. Couldn't have dinner hotel to busy. Breakfast had to be pre ordered, then one breakfast was forgotten. Had to keep asking for items. The poached eggs were rock hard. The whole experience was a nightmare. Found cut dirty toe nails on the bed. cobwebs in the bedroom. Pool area was terrible. Hotel needs a complete refurb. Some photos couldn't be uploaded.

1. Location. its very reachable and walking distance to centre and one of the beaches. 2. Room was very spacious. We have booked the 3 bed room and it was very much spacious for three of us for a night

1. There was a miscommunication over breakfast. During check-in and in the evening, I enquired the staff about the breakfast times, namely what time it starts, and both staff members said 8:30 a.m. But by the time we arrived downstairs for breakfast, it was all done and they had closed it. They meant that breakfast would conclude at 8:30 a.m., which was unclear or I misinterpreted. One of them was a new starter, so no worries. But the hotel staff was kind enough to give my son some cereal. 2. wanted to explore the swimming pool. Unfortunately, that was closed for chlorination.

They didn’t allow us to check in even 5 minutes before we waited hour and minutes the lady is friendly however but other staff are quite rude and they didn’t guide to room which was hard to hard to find because we had to go through the quiet room which doesn’t make sense … the lift wasn’t working too and even then the lift only allowed 4 people.The pool however does not be used by the coach guests that come here so you basically get a private pool. Caution some of the tiles in the pool can cut you!
