"Excellent meal. Pleasant staff. Room adequate."

Opportunity to have an excellent meal in the pub.

Had to leave early and so had to use a fire escape with metal steps. I had a dog so had to carry her down. The road was very busy.

"Great overnight stay, good value for money and close to where I wanted to be."

Check in was easy, the room was clean and well presented. I booked dinner when I arrived and they had a table available even though they were very busy. Dinner was very good. Parking and a bus stop is opposite the hotel.

"Perfect stopover, especially if you have dogs"

Location is perfect for a stopover en route to Scotland. Dogs catered for the staff are friendly and there is a lively bar with good food.

Check in fine, location good. Bathroom clean.

Shower soap dispenser ran out after the first shower....... Luckily brought my own Room could have been hoovered properly before we arrived Pillows need changing
