Overall is satisfied, But the air conditioner is not cold and the room is not clean

Bathrooms are all dirty and water leaking all over the closet with stains....Room 541 worst room..horrible experience

we stayed in 2 room 651 and 657 bed bugs bites all over the body caused a horrible experience to us kindly get us refund

Pools and the greens

Huge room, but need a bit of upgrading (especially for the bathroom). Facilities are ok, staffs are nice and friendly.

While it was a very pretty resort, with friendly staff, what i didnt like was that it was quite a walk to the beach since the surrounding grounds are so big. I like the idea of the bunny petting area and giant checkers board but it takes up a huge space which the resort could easily utilise to perhaps put up another building of rooms to cater for the elderly and disabled (wheelchair bound), which reduces the walk/distance to the beach. For younger people, the distance may be ok, but i have an elderly mother and a disabled sister whom would love to visit PD with us next time, and i would love to bring them to Thisle, but because the distance to the beach is too vast, this may not be feasible. Also, the steps leading to the beach from your bar are too large/high. It was difficult for me to get down to the beach and get back up again. (I am a plus-sized lady). Another disapointment was the food prices....hence we drove out to eat and found this lovely restaurant, La Playa which was a bungalow on the beach converted to a restaurant, which served gf8 food at very reasonable prices. If Thisle's food was priced similarly, we wouldnt have had to drive out at all. I love the fact that they have pool tables and a foosball table, but that area is so hot.... i think a few more fans would help. Maybe put vending machines for guests to get soft drinks/mineral water from anywhere around the resort and for getting tokens as well, so we do not have to keep going back to the towel counter.

It was quiet. The facilities were well maintained. It was a nice relaxing holiday for a family with young children

Wonderful Location at the beach -Helpful Staff! Many activities - Bliss for Kids.

Perfect pool landscape... We love the king size bed...very comfortable. The hotel might be a little bit old and need some maintenance... Overall is a very family friendly hotel.

Thistle has nice swimming pools, water slides and a jacuzzi pool as well as beach access
