Great value for the price, close to the city center, 24 hour front desk, quite comfortable bed. I also appreciated the possibility to leave my bags till the evening at the front desk. Shared bathroom was clean. Even though it is on the edge of neighborhood with homeless people and drug addicts, the hotel and the whole block around felt safe. And staff at the front desk told me where to go and what areas to avoid.

The fridge in my room was really loud.

Reserved and paid for the room in advance like always on Booking.com. They wouldn't accept my digital photo ID and other documents when I discovered I left my physical ID at a store that already closed because he only had a card reader..? Then charged me$80 for the room didn't use. So I booked a room at another hotel, which had no problem accepting Digital Photo ID. Looking into Small Claims Court.

It’s great that the property front door requires that you get buzzed in because the surrounding area is plagued with vagabonds. The bed was hard, old, and it felt like I slept on a wood plank. The room got extremely cold and the bed sheets were untrustworthy. The bedding needs to be replaced. Perhaps the bedsheets were clean but they looked like they could have been soiled a few times throughout their long life at the hotel. Perhaps they were bought used to match the old dingy vibe of the hotel. Please get new bedsheets. Seriously.

Super conveniently located near Union Square. Rooms are spacey and fully equipped as pictured. Shared toilets and showers were always spotless. And the hosts were lovely and very kind

Showers could use a bit more water pressure and perhaps a seat or bench to put things on, but otherwise not a big gripe

A simple and clean hotel very close to downtown and to the BART (about 15 min walk) with several shops and restaurants around. Very nice managers. Good for your budget, especially in that area. The room was clean and very quiet. In my case the bathroom was in the corridor but easy to reach, right in front of my room. Got my 250$ deposit back quickly. I recommend this place.
