Our room had direct access to the swimming pool. This is well worth it. My Fiancé and I loved it. Beach and restaurants are close. Hotel is well kept up and clean. Room was large and A/C worked great. Issues: Bellman did not help us with our luggage upon arrival. Front desk would not let us check in early. Made us wait in the heat for an hour and a half. Taxi to the airport or to other cities take 30-45 minutes to pick you up from the hotel.
The hotel is in a great location, but of course, when we first arrived we did not know exactly where everything was. If you walk toward the beach and then make a right, that street will curve to the right and that is where all the action, bars, restaurants and everything is. However, don't buy tours to the Phi Phi Islands at the hotel. Instead on the street mentioned above you will see lots of agencies selling the same tours MUCH MUCH MUCH cheaper. The tour we took we paid $100. The exactly same tour at street agencies went for $30. We paid the $100 because we were in a hurry and did not know where the street agencies were. It happened to us before, but a few years ago luckily we ran into the street tours first.
We had a lovely stay at this hotel. The staff were brilliant always willing to help and they all had a smile on their face and ensured they would greet you. The breakfast was a little expensive for what they offered bit and I think they could have done with more sunbeds around the pool but other than that no major issues
Good family hotel. Very quiet and close the the Karon village. Enjoyable stay. Although they offer free wifi the connection in the wing where I stayed, did not have a good signal.
Nice hotel, the new part is nice with pool entry room. Only complaint is the bed is like concrete.
The hotel was just perfect From the moment we arrived the staff where lovely and attended to our every need with a smile. The room was large over looking the swimming pools when we wanted to have a cool drink the fridge was well stocked with drinks every day. The breakfast was very nice with a good selection.
Good - Pool access room was very nice with jacuzzi jets at your doorstep. Toilet design was unique. Nearby the hotel are plenty of dining options and massage parlours. 2 minutes away from Karon beach. Bad - Room floor was stained and very slippery at certain areas. Some of the pillowcases had a weird smell. Power trip one night. Staff at breakfast refused to lend us an umbrella to get to our room when it was raining heavily (restaurant to serene wing is not sheltered).
