Very nice but air conditioning motors very noisy near room, wifi was not good at all, it was being looked into...staff very friendly...pools very nice...resort lovely...buffet breakfast very nice...close to beach, restaurants and shopping...lovely stay
A very big resort with a big size rooms. Swimming pool is small. Very good breakfast. A short walk from the beach, many restaurants, shops and massage parlors. Overall pleasant stay and worth the money i pay.
Very pleasant stay. Staff were very friendly and helpful, always smiling. Plenty of choice at breakfast. It was nice to have pool/beach towels provided.
Fab resort hotel less than 5 minutes from Karon beach. Shops and restaurants are plentiful, the pool and other facilities are great, and Patong is just 15 minutes away by taxi or tuk tuk. Catch a ride from the road on the beach side of the resort rather than from the lobby, the views on the ocean road are beautiful.
Had a lovely stay at The Old Phuket. Beautiful grounds, excellent location, our room was very comfy and welcoming after a long flight. The staff were friendly and helpful. Perhaps could do with improving the Wi-Fi but there are so many free Wi-Fi facilities at nearby restaurants it wasn't really much of a problem. Would love to return - fantastic trip!
Stayed @ this hotel 4 years ago in a jacuzzi room must say having just returned from our 2nd visit the bathroom was looking a little tired. The fixtues need replacing and the wallsneed redecorating, other than that everything else was spot on with nice eateries very close by and access close to the beach
We stayed in the old part of the hotel in the terraces. The room was old but somewhat traditional.We had a hand held shower over a large bath indoors and an outdoor shower which was fairly well screened off from rooms above. There were 2 chairs on the front small veranda which looked at the walk through area of the hotel which led to the beach, found this a bit disappointing cos we thought we had booked a pool view area, this was our error not that of the hotel. We purchased the daily buffet which was ok and had a reasonable variety of foods. Our friends stayed in the new part of the hotel and they had a ground floor room with a veranda which allowed direct access into the pool. This room was nice and would recommmend that these are the pick of the room to book as the overlook the pool, was pretty and it's great to have your own access into the pool
We booked at a really good price and then we were upgraded to a pool access room, so blessed. Straight into a splash pool just perfect. Breakfast was great, lots of choice. Shopping, restaurants around the hotel were great too. Massages were cheap and really good.
Great hotel
Hotel was nice, staff were good. We had superior room with pool access. It had nice sitting area at pool but always in shade. Room was really big and clean. Bathroom was excellent. Aircon a little noisy. There are only a few sun loungers on site and if you do not get up really early you have no chance of having one. Breakfast is good. Some nice restuarants outside. Nice beach across the road. Would stay again.
