Spark by Hilton Cincinnati Fairfield

Check in was fine but the hotel is really old and run-down. Toilet was dirty, pull out sofa was covered in yellow stains, and the pillows on our king-size bed were about 1sqft. Pool was little and there were no towels. Won’t stay here again, given the choice.

Rooms were disgusting …,, only thing that may have been clean were the bed sheets from what I was told …… the whole entire hotel needs to be detailed and redone … stained a lot of disgusting stuff on the wall and curraind… mattresses were stained spots RED! ….. I don’t recommended this hotel

I had to o call the front desk and complain who ever was over my head was running, jumping and bumping all night long and I really mean all night long. However on the good side I rented out the meeting room for a brunch and the staff went out of their way to help me with the surprise.

The hotel is in need of some repairs. Just minor repairs mostly. The bed was decent and the room was fairly clean. The heat pump diffuser was missing. The carpet had a damaged spot. And the light switches were motion sensing type. But the motion sensing didn’t work or was not setup right. I would give the property a 2 star rating. But with a little maintenance could easily be a 4 star. Location to hospital was good and is why we stayed.

The only thing I did not like were the pillows. They were terrible. Small. Hard. Thick. But that’s also not the pillow I prefer. That was the ONLY thing I didn’t like everything else was good to very good

The pool was open but the had a sign up temporarily close. Weight room out dates. The screws were loose. Needs maintenance all year round.

This hotel is extremely run down. Several things in the room were broken or damaged (furniture, walls, door knobs). The comforter on one of the beds had dried blood on it. The room felt very dark and dingy. I would not recommend this property.

I did not stay for my reservation. Very dirty. It has not been refunded as the staff said it would be.

The A/C in the room was almost non-existent. When we arrived the room felt like it was close to 80 degrees. It took me half an hour to get the A/C working, and it shut off on and on every 5 minutes, barely cooling down the room. I asked if we could be relocated to a different room, but somehow the entire building was booked full with a half-empty parking lot, so they were unable to help us. I explained to the person working at the desk what was wrong with the A/C, but when he came to check, he just said "The A/C is running, I don't see what the problem is. We are booked full, so we can see what is available in the morning," completely ignoring my other concerns. There was zero willingness to accommodate us. In addition, the pillows we received were pretty bad as well. They were small little cubes of pillow cases with barely any stuffing or support. Overall, easiest the most uncomfortable hotel stay I've ever had. I am very disappointed in the stay, and the cost of such a poor experience.
