Quality Inn & Suites Cameron Park Shingle Springs

Picture advertising the property fail to show the true condition of the property. Everything is old and run down. There are many safety issues as well. Doors labeled to remain open during business hours are locked and placarded to use other door. Broken concrete everywhere including stairs to second level. Bathroom window held in by gravity alone and does not lock. Pictures of waffles for breakfast in the hallway of lobby but only very meager continental. Hot tub is walled off by plywood and obviously hasn’t been used in a long time.

My room was clean and the bed good but at 3:40 in the morning, someone tried to break into my room. The flipper on the door did its job and they could not enter but I think they had a key as the deadbolt was opened. I had closed it before retiring. I hollered for them to leave. Upon getting up, I looked out the window but did not see anyone. Then I realized the window was wide open and the screen was leaning against the wall below the window. I closed the window and barricaded the door with chairs but only got fitful sleep for the rest of the night. I informed the night clerk when I checked out at 6AM and he was surprised to hear it happened, but thought he might know who did it. At breakfast, the coffee machine did not work but they had good bananas! Needless to say, I will not stay here in the future!

The rooms were not well let and only one trash can available he did not work like it should have

I overall was pleased with the stay. I was very disappointed in the TV and TV selection. Was blurry and not many channels.

Absolutely disgusting, completely rundown. The room was not clean at or the towels.. literally hair in them and yellow. GROSS!!

The gym and the breakfast convenience bar was not available

Perfectly fine motel for what it is. Staff very friendly and hotel room clean. Just an older room however still has everything you would need for your average stay. Close to a lot of places to eat. Stayed for a business trip.

The people in the office were wonderful, friendly and helpful. The room was clean.

I had a large room with a kitchenette, a full bath with hot water and a king bed. My reservation was made last minute and I was very pleased with the room . Best of all, it was quiet and I had a good night's sleep.
