"Stay here, everything is perfection...especially the food!"

10.0

Stay here. Beautiful and well appointed rooms (hot tub was lovely as was the view). The friendliest, kindest inn keepers EVER. Truly wonderful and ample hot dishes every morning plus perfectly cooked bacon and yogurt parfaits (you will not need lunch!!). Perfect location for walking around for delicious food & shopping, and lots of short day trips around the area. Parking. But mostly, it is the welcome you receive by gracious hosts that make you come as a stranger and feel like you are leaving family.

"A home from home."

10.0

Wonderful stay at a comfortable bed and breakfast. The inn keeper is very friendly and provides an exceptional breakfast. We chose not to have a room with a hot tub but we did have a steam shower and a fireplace. Definitely a great place to stay year round.

"Long weekend hiking trip"

10.0

This was the perfect place to stay for our long weekend getaway. A friend and I met up in Colorado for a weekend of hiking and chose the OTGH for our home base because of the location. Garden of the Gods, Manitou Springs, and Red Rock Open space are all within a 10 minute drive. The beds were super comfortable, the location was easily walkable to some delicious restaurants, the farmer's market, and good shopping. We started our mornings with a 3 course FANTASTIC breakfast at OTGH - truly the best food we had on the trip. This fueled us for our days of hiking (Monica and other guests also gave us some great trail recommendations)! The private balcony with hot tub was the perfect way to relax and restore for the next day's hike. There were butler's pantries on 2 of the 3 floors for 24 hour coffee, water and tea availability and a fridge in the room. We had everything we needed to enjoy our weekend. I can't recommend this B&B enough for it's convenience, comfort, and hosts. My only complaint is that I didn't have more days to stay and explore the area.

"Come Home to Old Town Guesthouse!"

10.0

From the moment you step into the Old Town Guesthouse, it feels like you’ve arrived home. The spacious entry hall is beautifully adorned with elegant furniture, a chandelier, and hutches filled with treasures for those who love collectibles. To the right, a cozy living room welcomes you with built-in shelves, a fireplace, and a wall-mounted TV. It was a perfect room for unwinding with your favorite movie on ultra-comfortable leather sofas after a day soaking in the sights, flavors, and charm of Old Colorado City. To the left of the lobby, the dining area is bright and inviting, offering a hint of the delicious breakfast to come. We stayed on the 3rd floor in the Oriental Poppy room, which evoked a Far East feel with artifacts from several Asian countries. It was spectacular, with a stunning view of Pikes Peak that we soaked in from the "ahhhh" of our private hot tub. The room was tastefully decorated, and the king bed offered one of the best night’s sleep we’ve had in a long time. Before dinner, we headed to the newly remodeled basement to visit with friends and enjoy a few games of pool. In the morning, we gathered in the dining room and enjoyed delightful conversation with our hosts, Tom and Monica. Tom prepared an amazing breakfast that started with a yogurt and fruit parfait, followed by perfectly cooked bacon and a secret egg dish that was absolutely incredible. I won’t spoil the surprise by naming it here as it deserves to remain a secret until it hits your tastebuds! Overall, this was a truly enjoyable B&B experience. My wife and I look forward to returning and sharing our wonderful stay with others. Thank you for such a memorable visit, Cycely, Brandon, Monica, Tom—and the pups too!

"Charming B&B with great hosts, private hot tubs, walkable location, tasty breakfast, and elderly-friendly access."

10.0

This is a pretty awesome B&B in an excellent location. Monica and Tom, the Inn Keepers, were great. Upon arrival, Monica gave us a personal tour of the common areas and our rooms upon checking us in. The rooms are nicely decorated and very clean. There was plenty of coffee and other necessities available in the butler pantries. Each room has its own AC/Heat controls which was very nice. We stayed on the 3rd floor since having a hot tub was a priority for us and all of the rooms on that floor have a private one. We were there three nights and used it every night - it is a very nice two-person tub on your very private balcony. Perfect. We were traveling with other family, including our elderly father (we went for Father's Day weekend). Fortunately - the B&B is well suited for the elderly having a large elevator to get up and down. Plenty of space for him to get around with his roller walker. The location was fantastic; we never had to drive to get to a restaurant or bar. The shops are right outside your door and everything is walkable. If you go during spring/summer - you'll have a farmers' market to visit just two blocks down the street on Saturday mornings - we did the farmers market and then had Mimosa's and coffee seated outside at an Italian coffee shop right across the street. Great way to start the weekend. Breakfast was served daily at 8:30 and the food was fantastic. Lots of coffee, juices, fruits and a main course. We always left the table feeling more than full. We will be back, the combination of the feel of the room, the heat of the hot tub, the location and things to do, the food and the friendly atmosphere provided by the Inn Keepers cannot be beat.
