Candlewood Suites Abilene, an IHG Hotel

Very clean, looked nice.

I didn’t like the parking. Very small parking lot and a not very friendly staff.

There is nothing to complain about. It was a great stay and we would stay again.

Wonderful staff at this hotel. Clean property and safe area. Many restaurants were walkable, as well as the Walmart.

The room was a very good size and was well-equipped with a two-spot cooktop and plenty of pots and pans. There was also a full sized fridge in my room, a microwave, a sink, dishwasher, and coffee maker. I stayed for three weeks and was able to hit up the local H-E-B to stock up and have some good home-cooked meals. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The property is a ten minute drive from Dyess Air Force Base and about fifteen to twenty minutes from the rest of Abilene.

This property doesn't have breakfast, but I knew that going in. They did tell me that I could go to the La Quinta in next door and eat breakfast and I wouldn't be charged. I didn't end up going, but it was nice to have that option.

Very clean.

Commode didn’t flush correctly. Elevator didn’t work our second day of stay.
