Excellent stay the staff could not do enough to make your stay better they were all kind, polite and always greeted you with a smile the whole holiday was perfect so a big thankyou to all the staff members and hope to see you again in the future

Lovely hotel. Greeted nicely and enjoyed our stay. Room was nice enough but the balcony was nice with a view. Breakfast was great at first glance but disappointing - fried eggs always running out, beans cold after a minute. I think actually there could be less range and more quality and attention given to the selections running low. However besides this I thoroughly enjoyed he stay.

Good hotel in a great location and perfect for those wishing to tour the island, with an easy walk into the centre of Funchal. The accommodation was very clean; the room was ample for our visit with everything you might need to hand. There were a large choice of foods at breakfast and evening meal was buffet style with a different theme each night, so something for everyone. The pool area was good; plenty of sunbeds and the pool spotless.

Very clean hotel with bus stop to Funchal Central close by. However if you are unfit, I would not recommend as there is a steep slope to the bus stop. Staff all very friendly. Optional dinner on the whole very good. Avoid 9 am for breakfast as it can be rather hectic.

Room small. Storage is a problem, nowhere to put any thing in the bathroom. The wardrobe is a pole across a recess . Tea and coffee in the room is in disposable cardboard cups . Not what i would expect for the price .Breakfast is buffet style and not very good . But the hotel is very clean and the staff very attentive.

Property seemed a bit older. Waited a long time to place order at lunch. Very nice staff though. Safe location.

This hotel is excellent. It has a modern interior, is kept spotlessly clean and the staff are all extremely helpful. We were in a Junior Suite on the 10th floor. The room was cleaned daily and had adequate hanging space for clothes, a very comfortable bed, and a nespresso coffee machine. The shower was good too (we didn't experience any water pressure issues as fed back by other reviewers). The views over the sea and across Funchal were lovely. The hotel is bases near a main road, which can get a tad noisy when you're sat on the balcony, however the windows offer excellent sound proofing and we didn't hear any noise or traffic in the evening and we slept soundly. Some reviewers have said the breakfast can get a bit repetitive. But we didn't find that at all. There are omelettes cooked to order, boiled eggs, scrambled eggs, hash browns, fresh fruit, yoghurts, bacon, plenty of bread and pastries, and the breakfast hall is a decent size too. Warning though, it does get lots busier after 08.30am though. There is a good gym, sauna, solarium and massage services are provided at a cost. Two areas the hotel may wish to consider for improvement would be to consider investing in an extra nespresso machine in the breakfast room, and / or improving the quality of the two other coffee machines. Lastly, we did seem to struggle closing the drawers in the bedroom, they had a habit of sprining open after they were closed. My last word of thanks goes to Cristina and the hotel staff. Part way through my stay, I was u well with sun stroke, and they were very helpful to me. Top marks for this hotel!

Everyone at the hotel is really nice and helpful. The champagne at breakfast is a great addition. They have parking, but it s not free. Also, the area was a bit noisy due to a construction site nearby.

Wow!! What a fantastic hotel. Staff are lovely and extremely helpful (Paula is amazing!) If we had questions, they gladly helped us. Food was absolutely spot on - I loved the breakfast, especially after we had been for a run in the morning. Yes the pool is small but perfect for relaxing next to. The area in which the hotel is based suited us as it was probably 'quieter' than some of funchal. Perfect coffee/bar down by the lido where we visited every day. We had a junior suite and the room was spotless and comfy, in fact the entire hotel was extremely clean. Enjoyed the roof top bar on an evening for a relaxing drink. When we come back to Madeira, I would love to come back and stay here! Thank you!
