Allegro Madeira - Adults Only - Member of Barceló Hotel Group

We loved our stay, the room was comfortable and the breakfast was incredible! Central location to what we needed while in Madeira. Will definitely stay again!

Felt deceived by the photos on Jet2. Views are restricted (we upgraded to sea view) as the area is full of high rise buildings. The hotel itself restricts views and overlooks a building site. Handy location for bus stop, shops and tourist information. About 35/40 minutes walk to marina, CR7 museum and town centre. About 30 minutes walk to Doca do Cavacas and maybe 10 /15 more to the sandy volcanic beach. Pingo doce supermarket is down hill on the right. Food was good - chefs visibly take pride in service. Most staff were nice but there were one or two rude/unhappy members. We avoided them. Room was small but adequate. Well equipped with toiletries and towels. The runner rail did not bother us however the drawers were annoying. Swimming pool fine unless you want to swim lengths. Managed to get a sun bed every day. Rooftop bar had terrible service and is open to the public. Many of us walked out one evening after waiting over 30 minutes for a drink. A noisy terrace restaurant is part of the building but not part of the hotel - a strange and confusing set up as there as signs are in the hotel. Would we return? Not to this hotel. It was not worth the money and was disappointing.

Great breakfast, nice swimming pool, good location, but too expensive in relation to its simple rooms.

The hotel was very pleasant and comfortable. Each evening there was a different themed dinner menu, which made every meal unique and enjoyable. Breakfast offered a good variety of options to choose from. The location is excellent, making it easy to explore the area, and the rooms were spacious and comfortable. Overall, a great place to stay!

Strategically good place (market, bus stop), calm place, very comfortable bed, kind staff, delicious breakfast buffet.

Modern hotel with everything you need. Close to the sea front with lovely views. Great pool and gym area and excellent breakfast. Would definitely stay again. Quite a walk into Funchal but worth it!

We definitely would use again if we return to Maderia. The hotel was very clean and all the staff from cleaners to managers all very polite and helpful.
