BQ Belvedere Hotel

My daughter and I visited on a 5 day trip, we had a fabulous time, the hotel was lovely and clean the room was nice, clean, had a room that overlooked the pool, the food was lovely, had no complaints, we really enjoyed the bar food. Plenty of sun beds so no rushing to get bed. There is a lady on site at the hotel who braids hair, she is the loveliest person, I had my hair braided too… and she was very busy, great asset to the hotel. Especially as the hotel is up high from the beach, so it’s nice to have someone who can offer that service. The only thing I can say that’s a slight negative is the luggage room is a big room that is situated in the lower ground floor, guests leave their bags, it has 2 showers, I think they need more showers and aircon… it’s very hot and humid with only 1 person showering at a time. Also you have to pay to use the safe in your room, which is annoying! Other than that we had a great stay and I would definitely recommend this hotel. 2.5 hour flight from London to Mallorca, then 10 mins drive to the hotel, honestly great if your only going for a few days. Also if you go half board the drinks are cheap to buy at the hotel.

This is a very comfortable hotel , it is clean and modern. On the whole, the staff a very helpful and friendly. However, our last evening was ruined by a rude restaurant waiter, I asked him where I could pay for drinks and I must've interrupted his texting session on his phone. He rolled his eyes and mumbled under his breath. This really upset me as up until then I'd had a good experience. The food isn't the best but the snack bar food is good and reasonably priced. Drinks are cheap too. The pool is good but the sunbeds are dropping to bits and are uncomfortable. If you want coffee on your balcony , take your own kettle! The hotel is on a hill and a little out the way but they put on a free shuttle bus to palma. Which is great. Overall, I had a fairly good experience and would definitely return.

Wir hatten uns auf einen erholsamen Aufenthalt gefreut, wurden aber leider stark enttäuscht. Zimmer & Aussicht: Das angebliche „Meerblick“-Zimmer war irreführend beschrieben. Tatsächlich konnte man vielleicht 10 % vom Meer erkennen, ansonsten war es eher ein seitlicher, kaum nennenswerter Blick. Sauberkeit: Die Zimmer waren nicht ordentlich gereinigt – weit entfernt von dem Standard, den man auf den Bildern erwarten würde. Personal: Das gesamte Personal wirkte unfreundlich und wenig serviceorientiert. Weder ein freundliches „Guten Morgen“ noch ein „Wie geht’s Ihnen?“ – null Gastfreundschaft, null Hilfsbereitschaft. So etwas habe ich von Spanien bisher nicht erlebt. Lage & Transport: Ohne Mietwagen ist man hier aufgeschmissen. Öffentliche Verkehrsmittel sind zwar vorhanden, aber die Verbindungen sind sehr eingeschränkt und für Urlauber kaum praktikabel. Fazit: Leider absolut keine Empfehlung. Das Hotel entspricht in keiner Weise den online dargestellten Eindrücken. Wir werden definitiv nicht wiederkommen.

We had an amazing holiday at BQ Belvedere, Mallorca, Spain. The hotel was charming and well-maintained, with rooms cleaned daily to a high standard. Its location was ideal—just a 10-minute walk to the beautiful sandy Cala Major beach. The hotel also offered a complimentary shuttle service to Palma Nova beach, which was a lovely bonus. For exploring further, the nearby public bus stop made it easy to reach Palma city centre in just 20 minutes. The breakfast and dinner buffets were excellent, with a wide variety of delicious and healthy options with smoothies, loads of fruits ,salad etc. One of the highlights was the boat trip with snorkeling that Kelly - the TUI representative recommended—it was a truly unforgettable experience.

We visited the BQ in August and I am writing this on our last day. Travelled with 3 adults (44m 40f 36f) and 2 children (6f). Everyone had a lovely holiday. All of us were thrilled with our stay and we will return. We have all stayed in multiple AI around the world and this one is comparable to much more expensive hotels. The buffet is exceptional- I was a Head Chef for five years. Good selection and well cooked, every meal was good. There are the standard moaners who expect nothing but chicken nuggets and chips, and they have those. Drinks was very hit and miss whether, the drinks were replenished. Katrina was lovely amd took the time to talk to the kids. Pool area is lovely. Plenty of sunbeds, we got a group of 5 everyday and at 10am! You do have pay for towel use so I'd advise to bring your own. There are heavy duty plastic cups poolside but this is standard and non issue for us. I'll be honest, a few tables would be good but I am being petty. Rooms are spotless (as is the rest of the hotel) cleaned every day, has hair dryer and full-sized shampoo and shower gel. Comfy beds and a decent sized balcony. We were pleased although the rooms are quite basic- but this isn't an issue for us. Air-con worked perfectly. Entertainment is good, and my girls enjoyed the Kids' Club and loved the mini disco and karaoke. A huge shout out to the lovely Paula, Mario, Josh, Desi and a special mention for Shelli. You all have made our girls' weeks and put countless smiles on their faces. Thank you, you are all a credit to the hotel and we all noticed how hard you all work to make everyone feel so welcome and ensure everyone has a fantastic holiday. Top tip- bring a refillable water bottle- you can fill it at the juice machines and then put it in the fridge in your room.

Pool is good, parking unknown, Bar is 2-stars max, boutique is just swimwear, close by are beaches and good restaurants. Pay a bit more and choose Nixe Palace instead.

Great pool. Fantastic size. Well kept pool area and extremely spacious. Never felt on top of other guests and never had an issue finding sunbeds for 4 of us. Rooms were clean and spacious with a great bathroom, bonus of shower wash, soap and shampoo. Room was cleaned everyday. We went All Inclusive and were blown away by the selection of food at all meal times. Again, this never felt too busy or too noisy. What it was lacking was drinks service. Table service for drinks when we first sat down, and we were never asked again. A bottle of wine with dinner would've pushed this to a 5 star. Along with the drinks service during the day. Queuing for sometimes up to 10 minutes for soft drinks wasn't fun. We also spent a fortune on bottled water from the drinks machine. We would like to return because the whole vibe of the hotel was just mellow and relaxing as a holiday should be.

I had such a wonderful stay at this hotel! The staff went above and beyond to make sure guests felt comfortable throughout the holiday. The evening entertainment and all the of animation team were all amazing and friendly and always put on great activities/shows A special mention has to go to Maria and Pietro from the animations team – they were absolutely fantastic! They brought so much energy, friendliness, and fun to every activity, and really made the experience unforgettable. They took the time to connect personally, which made the whole stay feel even more special! Definitely recommend this hotel

Completely and pleasantly surprised. Lovely hotel and staff. Spotless, everyone respectful, lovely chilled atmosphere around a really super pool. Its August and no matter what time you get to the pool you will find sunbeds. You might not end up right on pool edge but some reviewers saying no beds obviously allergic to walking 50 meters. Buffet is extensive and good quality and choice. Nice inside and outside dining options. Good little pool snack spot with nice tables. Typical pool foid but also healthy green salads and yummy tropical fruit plate. Contrary to some reviews the rooms are a decent size and the aircon works fine. If you cant work it, Google it or staff will help. Easy walk down to Cala Mayor...about 12 mins down hill and if you dont want exercise on the way back up...as the stairs are pretty full on then catch the number 46 bus back up... its cheap, they run constantly, and stop outside the hotel. The hotel offers free transport to Palma Nova and will organize excursions. But otherwise cheap local air con buses running all over all the time. But they are cash only. Im not a smoker and people leaving reviews saying engulfed in smoke and butts everywhere are talking nonsense. Smoking areas are far from the pool and the area is clean. I think people who've left poor reviews might just have had bad luck, it happens, or are just being spiteful. We are super happy we are here and would come back.

I've wondered how Hotels in Spain achieve a 4-star rating. It's not an International standard, apparently. This Hotel offers mediocre buffet, poor drinks, and no coffee after breakfast. It's a giant School kitchen of potatoes, uninspiring meats, bad cheeses, and 100 other fellow travellers to navigate the feeding stations. The pool is great, our 7-year old had a good time - and God bless her. For mother and father, this is far from the standard expected with "four stars"
