Property Notes

Any type of extra bed or child's cot is upon request and needs to be confirmed prior to guest arrival. Supplements are not calculated automatically in the total costs and will have to be paid for separately during your stay. Children between the ages of 6 & 16 are able to use the swimming pool at restricted times and must always be accompanied by an adult. The restricted times are 10:00 - 12 noon & 14:00 - 16:45. Spa use is included on your arrival day for guests enjoying a bed and breakfast, or dinner bed and breakfast package. Spa use is not included at any time when booking a room only rate Please note, guests who book the dinner, bed & breakfast rate category will enjoy a GBP 49 food allowance per person from our menu in the Hotel Restaurant. Please note that this property does not accept group reservations of 4 rooms or more. Guests are advised to contact the hotel for any group inquiries. Please note, no children under 12 years of age allowed in the restaurant after 18:00. Spa access for room only guests can be added from 12 pm day of arrival until 10 pm that night for £50 per person, per day.Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply. A deposit may be required at the property.

"What can I say...........JUST EXCELLENT....."

My Daughter booked myself and my wife for our Ruby wedding anniversary present. When we arrived we went to the spa It was amazing the staff so friendly and helpful. The spa was spotless one of the best spa I have ever been the hotel put some lovely thing in our room and it made our Ruby wedding even more special thank you so much to the staff at the hotel we have not had the food yet bus what I have seen and heard I can't wait to try it amazing THANK YOU ALL AT THE HOTEL for making our stay special

"night stay"

disappointed no longer able to go in the spa the next morning, mattress on bed had collapsed but would not check until after departure, no robes in rooms for executive boutique. they gave our key card to someone else in the spa but luckily no one used it.

"Relaxation at its best."

Relaxing rejuvenating stay. We took advantage of the Wowcher deal for DBB with spa access from noon the day of arrival. Not forgetting the free cocktail. Great spa with a variety of experiences. The ice cave and outdoor jacuzzi are vying fir top spot for me. Room was lovely everything you need. Had a great sleep. We ate in the terrace with a view over the gardens. (Sadly it never stopped raining so we didn't get the opportunity to look round them). Dinner was exceptional. We went over the allocation, but you could easily have had a couple of courses within that. Lots of choice at dinner and breakfast. I would highly recommend and we will definitely be back

"Fantastic Spa Break"

Fantastic stay at Thornton hall. I got the spa package including access to the spa, £30pp towards dinner and breakfast. The spa was lovely, even thought it was raining we used the outdoor hot tub and the staff brought drinks out to us which was great. The dinner was in a beautiful room, food was exceptional and service couldn’t have been better. The room was huge with a lovely bed and large bath. Breakfast was delicious with lots of options. Highly recommend for a weekend spa getaway!

What a fantastic experience. All staff were so nice and welcoming. Check in was quick and the room was amazing. Room was clean and bed was so comfortable. The food and drink were lovely. We loved the spa! We will definitely be back again.
