Property Notes

Any type of extra bed or child's cot is upon request and needs to be confirmed prior to guest arrival. Supplements are not calculated automatically in the total costs and will have to be paid for separately during your stay. Children between the ages of 6 & 16 are able to use the swimming pool at restricted times and must always be accompanied by an adult. The restricted times are 10:00 - 12 noon & 14:00 - 16:45. Spa use is included on your arrival day for guests enjoying a bed and breakfast, or dinner bed and breakfast package. Spa use is not included at any time when booking a room only rate Please note, guests who book the dinner, bed & breakfast rate category will enjoy a GBP 49 food allowance per person from our menu in the Hotel Restaurant. Please note that this property does not accept group reservations of 4 rooms or more. Guests are advised to contact the hotel for any group inquiries. Please note, no children under 12 years of age allowed in the restaurant after 18:00. Spa access for room only guests can be added from 12 pm day of arrival until 10 pm that night for £50 per person, per day.Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply. A deposit may be required at the property.

The staff were so nice and friendly and the location was lovely

The narrow hallways doors broke and closed all along it and is the most un family hotel I’ve ever stayed in the pool times aren’t suitable to kids and for the cost

Customer service was great from everybody especially Gez on reception. Room very clean, beds and pillows comfortable. Location good. Great bar area. Definitely recommend and look forward to staying again.

Yet another thoroughly enjoyable stay at Thornton Hall. Particular thanks to Annie on reception and Tom in the restaurant. Both were very accommodating, professional and polite and a credit to the hotel. All other staff members on duty during our stay were equally as helpful also. "Spa overnight stay"

Just want to say while the facilities are amazing. The staff are really what make this hotel so lovely helpful and cheerful. Especially the reception staff and the staff at the morning breakfast. You really cant experience better service
