The Payogan Villa Resort & Spa

The photos don't do justice to the true beauty and serenity of this place. The staff was excellent and the pool area was stunning. Be sure to spring for the private pool, was definitely worth it. Would definitely go back and recommend to everyone!

The staff was amazing! Such friendly, helpful and generally nice people. We stayed in the 1bed pool villa which was amazing. The villa was a good size with a view of the amazing greenery Ubud has to offer. The bed and pillows were very comfortable and the private infinity pool amazing! What I didn't like about the hotel was the wi-fi which they switch off in the evening so you really only have wifi from morning until late afternoon. Also the breakfast was below average and lastly the hotel is a bit of a distance from the centre of Ubud (about 15 - 20min drive) so we had to call a cab or use the hotel shuttle everyday. Overall a great hotel though.

The Property is very good for relaxing. Breakfast need to be upgrade.

I had a great stay at Payogan recently(Dec 28th to 30th 2015). The staff here is commendable and I was swept away by their hospitality. They make every possible effort to make your stay pleasant. I stayed in a Private Pool Villa (Room 406) and the view was breathtaking. The pool is very large and overlooking the valley. I totally loved the peace and tranquility in this place and regret not staying longer.

The staff at The Payogan will go above and beyond to ensure their guests are happy. The resort grounds are well maintained and Ubud is a short free shuttle ride away.

Resort was amazing. Huge rooms, shower, bath tub, massage bed and private pool outside.

This place is paradise. Splurge the extra money and get one of the rooms with the en-suite pool. There's no better feeling than waking up and having your morning coffee while feet are dangling in the pool overlooking the beautiful mountains in your back yard. The personnel here is amazing, from the restaurant to the front desk to the management and housekeeping. One peculiar person I want to say thanks to is Didi our bell boy who would always give us a huge good morning smile and try to make conversation to make us feel welcome. One quick thing overall to keep in mind about the Ubud area and Bali as a whole is that although english is spoken everywhere there is still a language barrier, not everyone is fluent so at times communication can become an issue.
