Celebrating our 52nd Wedding Anniversary we looked for a local short break and found the Orestone Manor This ticked all our boxes - dog friendly - exceptional facilities - friendly attentive staff - amazing food We arrived and were taken to our stunning accommodation - Room 15 - on two floors, spacious, exceptionally well furnished to a high standard and a beautiful hot tub The whole place really was exceptionally clean We and our puppy absolutely loved the rooms Our stay was further enhanced by a stunning dinner - photos attached - all local food professionally prepared and presented Breakfast was equally exceptional- freshly prepared and delicious The porridge too was delicious One little downside was the weather - misty with little visibility throughout What really made our stay exceptional was the superb way the owners and staff team looked after us - we really were made so welcome and can’t wait returned soon Thank you I recommend the Orestone for a stay and exceptional food

We came here for our anniversary meal and so glad we did. The service from one of the owners was fantastic, he was really friendly and professional. The food was delicious and the wine great. Was so nice to sit by the fire afterwards with a brandy. Definitely recommend.

This really is a quality old fashioned hotel with wonderful breakfasts/dinner to match. The rooms are well equipped and spacious. Very clean throughout. Plenty of car parking. Quiet and safe. We look forward to returning soon. Keep those wonderful steaks on the menu!

Lovely place to stay. Staff very friendly and helpful. Room was pleasant and clean. Food was exceptional. Definitely a hotel I would stay at again.

We had an excellent full afternoon tea. There were a variety of finger sandwiches, freshly baked scones and a delightful selection of cakes. The staff were very helpful, checking to see if we needed extra tea. All in all I would highly recommend Orestone Manor.

Absolutely brilliant time at The Oreston Manor Murder Mystery evening last night! Great food, fab entertainment and great company. Thank you and merry Christmas 🥂

We had stayed at this lovely hotel before. Craig and Karen could not have been better hosts and we enjoyed talking with them. Our room was huge, comfortable, and well appointed. The evening meal and breakfast were exceptionally good. The hotel looked very Christmassy. Another wonderful stay.

Good breakfast menu freshly cooked. Good staff but could do with another staff member in the evening keeping an eye on reception and requests from guests in their rooms as their in house phone was down.

Very clean room and space. Breakfast was well worth the supplement . Staff were chatty, friendly and helpful. Very enjoyable stay

We had a problem with our booking com reservation and had to ring hotel and was assured they had a room available, so booked and OYO came back with reservation ! Evidently they are a franchise, as I booked the cheapest room we had a very small room up 3 flights of stairs ! On the first night we opted to eat in but ,but as only such a late time available decided on just a main course,pie & chips and nut roast with the smallest portion of cabbage & the tiniest leeks in sauce,the pie was described as being game but was just a mush of brown meat and the nut roast a thin slither surrounded by tom sauce, that's all you could taste just tomato sauce,no mention of price on menu,we were flabestergasted to be charged £25 for each. Breakfast was good The hotel is dated but comfortable
