The Casa Hotel, Sure Hotel Collection by Best Western

Thank you to the staff who were helpful and happily chatted with us. Bedroom clean, good shower. Nice cooked breakfast, plenty of tea, coffee, juice. Small bar but nice, restaurant we thought a little pricey. We had a two night break which was nice. We will see you again. Thanks

It’s ok to stay one night or two no more then that . I would like to have had a hot bath but unfortunate the water was warmish not hot enough . The sink the water was very hot and the pressure on the bath was very low . The breakfast was ok but nothing special.

We went to a party here and also stayed. The staff work very hard and are very welcoming and are lovely. Beautiful little hotel

I booked a standard double room. The first one I was booked into smelled of mould. So did the second. I had to upgrade to a ‘superior’ double room, but the only difference appeared to be that it didn’t stink. £10 extra to have a room that wasn’t mouldy. The bath came complete with a male ‘excretion’ stuck to the side of the bath which only became obvious when it started to float on running the bath. The toilet roll holder exploded when touched as the spindle was only held in place by loose anchors. The toilet had a streak of something brown and streaky (on the outside of the bowl - see photos). Window was filthy. Overall a tired and dirty room. Nothing short of a disgrace for this one-time well reputed hotel and restaurant. Nobody was available on reception to complain to, so I left with only this review available as a means of feeding back.

Comfortable enough stay in a somewhat dated room. It does what it says on the tin, this was my second stay and probably wont be my last.

First time here having passed it before. Reputation for its food which didn’t have opportunity to sample. Happy to come again

Easy check in process with welcoming receptionist. Plenty of parking when we stayed but imagine it would get full if there was an event on. Room was clean and had the usual facilities all in good working order. Bed was comfortable and shower was decent. We didn't have breakfast so can't comment on that. Thanks again.

So we had room 49, which is rather in need of a complete overhaul as it is looking a little dated, with some water damage to the ceiling in the bathroom. With no aircon, it did get a bit hot. The bed, thankfully, was very comfortable. I did see a newer room that our friend was staying in and this was better. The biggest problem was that for two nights in a row there was a wedding at the hotel and the room literally vibrated with the noise. As we had come in from abroad, and were really exhausted, this was unpleasant for our sleep. It would have been good if the hotel had at least told us that this was going to happen. We did alert the property but they must tell their guests in advance
