AUI liked the closeness to the water.
The fact that a family of 5 were crammed into a single room which was also a living area. They had provided 2 beds and a fold out futon to sleep someone on, however was not comfortable at all. Butt buckets on the balconies which welcomes smoking. A bathroom so small you can wash your feet while taking a number 2. They have a laminated notice in the bathroom, that if more than 2 people need a shower, to think about timings, as it was only a 50L hot water system. No privacy between balconies, and can see through bathroom windows going down stairs. Pool was not clean and required several fixings on arrival. Wasnt able to use first day, and still looked unusable after they said it was fixed lunchtime 2nd day. If it had been 2 of us I wouldn't have been so bothered, but it definitely did not cater to a family of 5. We left after one night and forfeited the 2nd it was that unpleasant. ⭐️

Air conditioning was set at 26! Totally unacceptable in tropical environments? 22 or at most maybe 24 but it was cooler outside. It made it uncomfortable to sleep! 26 degrees is rude and below par for motel accommodation! And the shower lacked water pressure wasn’t very hot and kept falling down!
