Broadwater Keys

Bed was comfortable and air conditioning was good. Location was good as we were going to a party. It was close to the water and cafes. It was near the Grand Hotel and we needed to take drinks for the party so we could walk and get them.

All the stairs that were narrow to climb and to navigate with a bag on wheels. Some floor covering missing near the bed. Bathroom was clean but i was expecting for more better appointment bathroom. Kitchen was old and not nice to look at. The main thing that I didn't like was on the balcony, the first thing I was greeted with was a dirty ashtray....yuck. For someone who doesn't smoke a big turnoff.

This place is adverised as 'holiday apartments', but it's just a motel, and not a very good one either. It has little appeal. Looks like it's from the 60s and little effort was made to make it look nice. There are no lifts, so you have to potentially lug your bags up 3 flights of stairs. The TV reception is poor and the WiFi is pretty much unusable. The motel reception is tiny. It can only fit one person at a time. This place charges premium rates, as well. I have stayed in luxury hotels in Singapore that are cheaper than this. We chose it because there was basically nothing else under $500. The price is determined by scarcity of alternatives, not value for money. But the big problem with this place is noise. It is right next to a busy main road. Not only that, it's by a traffic light, so you get the stereo noise from waiting cars as well as the revving of engines from the boy racers. The motel provides ear plugs! Never seen that before. The only way I could sleep was to wear my noise cancelling headphones all night. Not ideal.

Not very clean, Wardrobe had mold inside, Had to get staff to fix air conditioner, tv didn't work. And very noisy, was given ear plugs

Location

Front door wasn’t secure. Didn’t close properly. Air con dripped & flooded front tv unit - but they knew & didn’t fix then blamed me for checking in on a Saturday & not being able to get a repair person. Property filthy. Holes patched in walls, linens stained, no broom to sweep floor. Tv didn’t work - again they knew & just apologised. Fix it! Hot water ran out after 2 quick showers. Shower curtain rail kept falling down. Didn’t even have a toilet roll holder.

Great location

Tiny toilet could not even sit on the thing, beds outdated, price is high for the quality

The room was clean and exceeded my expectation with the kitchen.

I was disappointed with how much noise there was. I expected the traffic , but the walls between rooms were very thin( ear plugs were provided which was thoughtful). It also took 5 days for the bins to be returned. I expected it on departure.
