Easy chilled place to stay friendly staff. Nice pool

Pool area good for a relax with a book. Hotel close to Surfers food area Facilities first class

Terribly worn out and dirty room. Holes in the wall. Mismatched paint. Dirt and grime build up on skirting boards. Carpet near threadbare. Tiles grimy. Furniture all worn and dated. Maybe suitable for schoolies but that's about it. No way it's 4 star.

We stayed here for 9 nights and during that time, our sheets and towels were replaced once, and even then we had to request for them to be changed. Our room was decent, however every pot and pan was dirty and/or unusable. Half the bowls and cutlery had to be rewashed. The TV didn't work properly and the remote control was in Chinese - which really didn't matter because it didn't link to the TV anyway. The shower rail fell on my husbands head while he was showering, and even after alerting the manager, the shower still wasn't fixed until it fell on him a second time.

Ok for the accomodation & flight deal. Staff was helpful, units clean and well equipped and the pool was regularly cared for. The drawback was because of being a cheap deal, we had the rooms beside the pool and it's entrance. Guests and fence climbing visitors did get into the pool almost every night past the closing time. Sleeping a night through was impossible.

Good value for money. Before we got there I tried calling the resort 10times over 2 hours to let them know about our late arrival. No one picked up.. so quite frustrating. When I reached them they said they were having lunch.. for 2 hours?.. Quite a lot of really noisy kids in the pool area. With no parents around to tell them to behave and not splash water onto other guest trying to read.. Other then that great place to stay. Spacious apartments with everything you need. Is about a 10-15min walk into surfers paradise and grocery shops, so would probably book something closer for next time since we didn't have a car. Really depends what your after :)

Wanted a resort closer to the beach because I can't stand walking in the heat but that was my fault as I should have checked where it was beforehand and once it was booked I thought I read that changes were not allowed. Also wanted breakfast included and I thought I ticked that box but breakfast was not included. The pool was very hot too hot for the weather we had. It would have been nice to jump into cold water. There was no beach towels so I had to buy one. I wasn't happy about paying a $200 bond. I have never heard of this before. I only hope they didn't bill me for the things that were wrong with the place. I still can't find out if all money was re-deposited into my account as it was probably put in on the weekends so that information is not available from the bank yet.

It was a good stay in-terms of cleanliness and comfort. The receptionist are very helpful. Though needs to walk about 10 minutes to get a public transport but we enjoy the view and amenities. Need to DIY for the room service but it is something new to experience.

This hotel was badly maintained however if it was given a makeover would be fabulous.
