The Kenwood Inn

It's always like coming home when we arrive here. It had been awhile since we headed to St. Augustine. The Kenwood never disappoints. Historic charm is part of your stay here. The breakfasts are always wonderful. Built in 1865, if I remember correctly. The hotel is kept pristine and welcoming. Although it's out of the way for us, when we're heading to Ft. Lauderdale, we always book the Kenwood for an overnight stay.

We had an amazing experience at The Kenwood Inn. The accommodation's were modern comfortable while maintaining the historic charm. The breakfast was three courses and one of the best breakfasts we have ever had. Thanks for your hospitality.

We confirmed our suspicions that we’re not BnB types. Out of the six breakfasts we were entitled to over 3 nights, we had only one, and my husband said there was only one thing he could eat and service took a long time, as it was a three-course affair. Since it doesn’t start until 8:30, you have to want to spend your day eating. The shower was great, but the bed wasn’t too comfy- it was one of those with a remote that vibrates and elevates, which doesn’t float our boat. The place is lovely and convenient, the parking isn’t too far, the hostess gave us gods lid recommendations and grabbed a bottled water for me when I begged for one, and there’s a cabinet with extra TP etc guests can access, as well as a butlers pantry with fridge, but it was too cold to try the pool or sit outside, so not the best time of year to review, really. I learned I value a fitness center and should stay in a hotel. Also the request for a 15% tip at checkout was a surprise. Still, it gets 5 stars because as BnBs go, it’s very well-managed.

Our 2026 Girls Trip to St. Augustine and the Kenwood Inn was OUTSTANDING! Great location, perfect suite, fantastic breakfast, and amazing hosts! We will be back!

The location was great, very walkable to resturants and shops. The Inn is old but beautiful and was still adorably decorated for Christmas. The staff were amazing. We loved the big king four poster bed, the wonderful "Comfy Sheets" and the room. The room was vey clean and had very nice amenities. The wine happy hour was lovely and the cookies were amazing. The breakfasts were fantastic. There were spaces to store cold items and on demand hot water etc. Everything was wonderful and we will be going back the next time we are in St. Augustine. Very Highly recommend.

Stayed here with my spouse last weekend. Everyone was welcoming, the house is very pretty and it’s an easy walk to everything. Highly recommend!

Such a great place and looked after so well by Alison. The rooms are cosy, the rooms are full of history. And the 3-course breakfast was pretty incredible.
