Battlesteads Hotel

Staff were very welcoming, pleasant & helpful. Food was delicious. Loved the fact that produce grown on site was used in the menu. Facilities were very clean and tidy. Accommodation very eco friendly.

We loved our stay at battlesteads . We were a family of four , who were walking Hadrian’s wall . Battlesteads was an overnight stay on route , although battlesteads was a bit off route , im so pleased we got the chance to stay at battlesteads, the staff were warm and friendly, the food was excellent, lots of little treats in the room . I cannot fault it , I would like to stay again , they have an observatory, and amazing dark sky status . Thank you battlesteads x

First hotel in a long time and I stay in hotels most weekends that actually serve venison. Great stay even though wasn't there long would definitely stay again if in that area.

Lovely stay very dog friendly

Fantastic 3 night stay. Stopped in a family room which was very comfortable, clean and spacious. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice & ate in the restaurant twice. Both evening meals were of a high standard using ingredients grown on site. Staff were brilliant, very helpful and professional and great with our kids
