Hotel Krebs

We had gone to the adjoining restaurant Krebs which was a disaster .Please be careful they have mentioned in small fine print below the menu that in case of sharing any dishes they would charge 8CHF per per person ! Now it is common sense that One person cannot have a full Fondue. For 4 persons we ordered 2 dishes and to our dismay we were charged 32 CHF EXTRA for sharing for all 4 . . When we questioned the waiter he rudely informed us that we should have also Ordered Drinks !! .This is an Integrity issue which the Hotel Management needs to address on priority.

What a lovely hotel. Great situation beside shops and transport. Great atmosphere and a wonderful restaurant. Everything was clean and staff were so friendly and efficient. I needed to call after departing the hotel about some items I left in the room. I spoke with Mai, . He was so pleasant and sorted everything for me. I must also say that the cleaning staff must be very honest to hand in my stuff.

Upgrade and pleasant staff

Our stay was comfortable, the room was spacious and clean with all the expected amenities. Our only issue with the hotel was the shower. It was over the bath and not easy to turn around for a normal shower. I am not a large person and could not imagine how someone who was large would manage.

The hotel is within walking distance of Interlaken West station and surrounded by good dining and shopping options. The room was small but adequate. The staff is extremely friendly, and the overall atmosphere is lively and welcoming.

The hotel does not accomodate for change of plans by not allowing for an earlier checkout than your original booking. They charge for the entire booking stay.

Incredible location close to station. Staff especially good in restaurant and bar in evening but breakfast average. Bedroom good size and facilities. All in all, an excellent hotel.

We had an incredible 5 night stay at the Hotel Krebs. We cannot thank the staff enough for their kindness and hospitality. Big, comfortable clean room with a great shower/tub. Bar/Restaurant serves up good drinks and traditional Swiss fare. The complimentary breakfast had great selections ranging from scramble eggs, sausage, bacon, smoked salmon to fresh fruit, yogurt, etc. Book this hotel, you won’t be disappointed. Right in downtown Interlaken, 3 minute to walk to Interlaken West train station and a 15 minute walk to Interlaken Ost station. Big props to Demetria who welcomed us and got us situated and on our way to exploring the beautiful Berner Oberland Alps.
