Marriott's Oceana Palms

Everything was amazing, just One thing, My room wasn’t cleaned, even though I stayed for 3 nights and 4 days I had to take the trash out by myself and I had to figured it out a way to change the towels, Besides that, great place

We stayed in a waterview, 2 bedroom suite and were incredibly impressed. The room was super spacious, the balcony was huge and the view was just as amazing (despite it not being waterfront). We loved the property and the easy access to the beach. The breakfast cafe had good options for quick bites, snacks and such. We also lovedddd the convenience of the bar/restaurant with walk up access to the pool. We’ll definitely be staying here again!!!!!

I've been to a lot of marriott vacation clubs. This one has pretty units - especially if you can get an ocean front unit. The views are very nice if facing the ocean! The main bedroom and bathroom are nice. The good things about this property: Geat Views, pretty living room space, nice balcony - espec ocean front, great gym, wonderful area to walk around the island and close to many restaurants and shopping, they have daily activities for kids and for adults - just be sure you look for the signs to know what's happening. the not so nice things about this property: This marriott has terrible pillows and cheap sheets/bedding - very lumpy and thin! Not at all reflecting the $800 price tag for a night. They have minimal service - housekeeping is once a week (maybe), no real restaurant on site or room service, they do have a canteen like restaurant with small menu, the pool is in the shade nearly all day so if it is a cooler month - don't plan to be in the sun/pool. But it's great when it's hot. There is direct beach access but you have to go out a gate - it's a bit of a walk to get to the beach. This is the same for all properties on singer island i think. The other bad thing is as an owner i see ocean front rooms are available to pay for but no availability to use my owner points that i've already paid for! Feels like bait and switch from marriott vacation club! I see that at many locations! Marriott should FIX THAT NOW or you will not get new owners

Booked this stay as a 5 star hotel - it is not! This is a time share property. No valet, no descent restaurant on site; breakfast is self service in plastic boxes, not even a daily housekeeping service. The only thing which was like a 5 star hotel was the exaggerated price of the stay

This vacation club is old and run down. When we checked in there were cleaning people in the lobby and there was no one at the front desk. The floor was wet and was clearly a hazard. Our room appeared to have been renovated with new carpeting and furniture except it was clear that there had been water damage in the unit. The bathroom doors are peeling and rotten at the bottom. The baseboard on the cabinetry in the bathroom was kicked in and had fallen off. There is possibly mold in the unit. The amenities are old. The nicest thing was the parking if that tells you anything. I wouldn’t buy a timeshare or recommend you stay here. We shared that with them on our timeshare tour which was hosted at their other property and they offered us the opportunity to come back and stay at that property on Singer Island.

Location was great- within walking distance of some shops and snorkeling. Great view of the 4th of July Fireworks. We liked that activities, beach and pools were close together-just had to walk out our building and you were right at games, mini soccer green, crafts and pools and beach. Felt like a community. Staff were friendly at all levels. We loved karaoke night ! We cooked in our rooms due to food allergies -had all we needed for that. The finale was a spectacular view of all the firework's in communities in surrounding areas as well as the main one on the marina. We plan to go back!
