Excelllent for families with children. A lot of activities, very clean and staff are amazing.

Travel with kids. First of all this is the Timeshare hotel. You need to change the room if you arrive in the middle of the week. Stuff is so unwelcoming,room are so stinky. It was the worst experience ever. I change hotel immediately Honestly I don’t know what people like about this property???

Our room was spacious and convenient, we had a suite with a private bedroom and a jacuzzi on our balcony. The resort was clean and very large but it did need some maintenance. The resort is quite outdated, the infinity pool had pool tiles coming off that would sink to the bottom of the pool and a few buildings need some fresh paint. The majority of the staff were excellent like our concierge, Eugenia. She made things convenient for us and made herself accessible. Samuel, a pool waiter from Pool 1, provided us with excellent service. The pool/beach activities were fun and the shows were great. My husband and I did find it odd that the swim up bar pool bartenders all seemed to be in sour moods. Most of them would not greet us and stayed completely silent while they served us, although we speak fluent Spanish. Our first experience at the swim up bar was with Xochitel. I ordered a Bahama mama from her for my husband which she made with vodka. I assumed she had a previous order as Bahama Mamas are not made with vodka. She then handed me the drink and I asked her if she made it with rum, assuming I was confused. She confirmed she made it with vodka and I asked her to remake it with rum. She responded that I never asked for rum. I told her she was right but that Bahama mamas are not made with vodka. She proceeded to remake it and began scoffing at our interaction with her coworkers very obviously. We had a good time overall but there are much nicer resorts in the area.

We’ve stayed at several other Royal Resorts. This one by far is the worst one. The food was terrible. There was very limited dining at the resort. And you have to call the day of to make reservations to the restaurants BUT timeshare owners have top priority. 4 out of the 7 days we stayed we were denied reservations. We had to go to town to eat because the buffet that’s available every night was awful. The beach was ugly and smelled like sewer. It’s a very small beach area that fits a sand volleyball court. The water is brown like a lake. The pool had a huge hair ball (the size) of a wig on top of one of the drains and it stayed there for days. The poolside service was slow and inconsistent. Some days we would wait over an hour for our lunch. The only positive about the resort was the room. It was spacious and clean for our family of 4.

My family and I (a group of 10) stayed in this resorts from 7/23 to 7/27. We had a blast! Staff was friendly and very accommodating, food was delicious, resort was clean, and beach was cleaned throughout the day to allow guests to take advantage of the ocean. We will definitely go back! 5/5

We had a wonderful experience. There were daily activities and the staff were very nice.

Las habitationes son viejas, las sabanas Esteban muy deterioradas que las mandamos a cambiar porque sentiamos que nos exfoliaban cada vez que nos moviamos, la almohadas tenon mal olor , mas de la mitad del personal eran groceros. La verdad jamas volveria
