The Firs Lodge

I felt walls, fixtures, bathroom fan need a good cleaning. Convenient for getting to Heathrow. Easy to find.

Served the purpose for one night stay. Walking distance from Hounslow West on Piccadilly line.

Everything was okay and the breakfast is very good, but if you are on the ground floor it can noisy with people going outside at all hours to smoke in the garden. Staff very good and friendly.

Only 5 min walk from the Underground train linking London to Heathrow airport. Reasonably good facilities within the budget. Overall, good experience.

The Firs Lodge isn't a 'Ritz Carlton', but doesn't pretend to be, nor isn't priced like one either. A good, solid and clean place for lodging with a friendly and helpful staff who, when asked, were very helpful and accommodating. My wife and I are very happy we chose Firs Lodge for our stay awaiting a late departure at Heathrow the following day.

Last night in London after two weeks across Europe this was the worse hotel not worthy of a rating. The bathroom was mouldy there was dust everywhere and the whole hotel stank of incense to cover awful smells. The staff were rude and unwelcoming the room was tiny for 3 people as booked we could hardly fit our luggage in. AUD $190 per night was a total rip off. Only saving grace was a 5 minute walk to the station to get to Heathrow

On the first night my shower didn't work. I was home before it was fixed the next day and by fixed, the temperature and pressure knobs had been switched and were on back to front. Flush on toilet also questionable. There was a condom wrapper in my shelving unit. Apart from that, very pleasant staff and overall clean and tidy room.

my room was on the ground floor, and a bit noisy when people went past, which does happen at strange times because of flights etc.

My room was small but cozy and clean, had a good sized TV, and a comfortable bed. English breakfast was delicious. Conveniently close to the tube. Great place for an overnight layover near Heathrow.
