Grande Rockies Resort - Bellstar Hotels & Resorts

Wow. Really wanted to like this hotel but can’t give them more than 1 star due to incredibly poor customer service. Firstly, there is a major issue with parking. We were here for a minor hockey tournament and many people in our group had issues with people parking in their assigned stalls. The parking is tight as it is. Some people were told to find parking on the street. Then to top it off I called last night to ask for a later checkout. No one at the front desk answered the phone. Then when I called this morning I was told by Jake that they could not accommodate a later checkout (note that checkout is 10 am which is already earlier than most hotels) and “maybe if they had known sooner”. Maybe you should answer your phone! Do yourself a favour and book elsewhere.

Our TV wasn’t working and when we called to have fixed there was no one for the first day to get it fixed.

Location/ price for that time of year

Staff was always on the phone. Had to get room keys rescanned numerous times/ had to ask for pool towels at reception which wasn’t very attentive. Parking stall set up was a big runaround.
