We’ve had the most amazing stay at the hotel from start to finish 💛 The food was absolutely incredible every day with so much choice, and every meal felt special. A huge thank you to the servers Tasha, Amber and Patrick who were all so friendly, welcoming and attentive throughout our stay — they genuinely made the experience even better! The atmosphere, entertainment and overall service were amazing and we couldn’t fault a thing. We’ve made the best memories here and are already talking about coming back ✨ Thank you for such a lovely holiday!

"Wonderful!"

The GW is a lovely hotel in the original Washington, set in beautiful grounds. The rooms are lovely, the food is excellent and all of the staff are amazing. I was greeted on reception by a super friendly and helpful receptionist, had a fabulous Fish and Chip meal in the restaurant. Everyone was just amazing, and none of them paid me for this review!

Fabulous restaurant, set in the grounds of a gorgeous golf resort. The staff are very attentive and provide exceptional service (Patrick and Tasha) from the attached Carter & Fitch pizzeria - Smokehouse & bar continually go above and beyond to ensure the experience is befitting of the location. Prices are reasonable when you compare it to the quality of the meals on offer. The venue has comfortable modern decor with outdoor seating available. If you have not yet visited I couldn't recommend enough. I traveled here for business purposes for an extended 5 week duration and wouldn't hesitate to return. The rooms in the hotel accommodate to every budget from standard rooms to executive suites. The hotel features a spa, pool and fitness suite, outside you will fine a ln 18 hole (top quality) golf course and driving range with top tracer tracking. If you are considering locations for a stay whilst visiting the north east this hotel has to be top of the list.
