The room needs more lighting, the room service is super slow, but the water parks are really good.

The complex is a maze, and so are the parking lots. Prepare to be lost and confused. Door needed to be slammed shut to latch; TP holder was on the floor, broken. $127 in fees after you book your room. So it isn’t a bargain—just pay extra (upfront! Not sneaky fees!) and stay where you really wanted.

Overall it’s a good experience

Very Family oriented. All in one are mo need to go to another water park. Very peaceful and tge condos are perfect for large families.

Trash outside spilled over, hornets nest above patio door. Broken patio screen door. Trash on balcony floor.

The resort as a whole is beautiful, the trail(s) to walk are nice, the option of being able to get a condo or villa that’s detached from the main hotel is great, more than enough parking available, the options of the indoor and outdoor water parks, the lazy river, the sports pool, and the wave pool with the outdoor bar were all great. In our room, the water pressure was fantastic and it was fairly well cleaned.

The villas. Our room was next to terrible. The patio door (both the glass and screen doors) didn’t open or close correctly, they were broken. Our neighbors above us had the same issue, so clearly the building as a whole needs some maintenance. The pictures of the villas are also deceiving online because it looked like we were going to have a full size fridge but it was just a dorm fridge and there wasn’t a dishwasher even though the pictures definitely showed one. There were stains ALL over the carpeting that a simple good shampoo could probably remove. There wasn’t enough towels or toilet paper supplied originally, so we had to call the desk MULTIPLE times for extra toiletries and they took FOREVER to deliver the items. When staff dropped off items they were kind of rude, too. Also for a resort that isn’t off any main roads, there should be a shuttle service to downtown or something. Finally, there was no designated area for you to throw out a garbage bag from your room (I.e., no dumpster near the buildings, etc.) and we were not told by staff where to go with our garbage.

The bath and shower wasn't working and called down to customer service and nobody showed up for maintenance never got a different room until this morning only gave an extension from 10:30 to 2:00

My family and I had a wonderful stay at Chula Vista Resort. The room was spacious and comfortable, perfectly suited for a family of 5. One of the highlights of our stay was the breakfast — it was absolutely delicious with a wide variety of options to satisfy everyone. The service stood out as well. Every staff member we interacted with was polite, friendly, and genuinely attentive, which made our stay feel that much more welcoming. The resort is located in a peaceful and quiet area, offering a great escape from the busier parts of Wisconsin Dells while still being close enough to enjoy all the attractions. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would highly recommend Chula Vista Resort to families looking for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway.

A bit outdated and very short staffed. However, great parking, quiet, not overly crowded. It was nice to go to a waterpark and find plenty of seating and not tons of people. Service for drinks or food was very slow. Staff was somewhat unfriendly, not mean but not concerned or attentive. Carpets in the hotel need a major cleaning. Very very dirty. 3 stars, has pros and cons. Undecided if we will be back again.

The location

Black mold in the bathroom, the rooms and hallways smelled, false advertisement of having a watermark when a lot of the water slides were not working, the hotel is needing to be updated.
