Hilton Garden Inn Houston West Katy

Best rooms and service I’ve had in Katy. I never have any issues and check out is a breeze l would recommend to anyone going through Katy and needing a place to stay for a night. Great food right outside the hotel and a mall for shopping if needed.

Setup: Over 60 y/o Hilton Diamond member. Stayed here 7-10MAR. Evan was excellent on day one. At the end of day 2 with dinner in hand, the missus and I went up to our room; keypad didn't work. After two trips downstairs, the nice girl at the desk came up with a master key, which also didn't work. It so happens that this occurred with another room the night before. She made a call to someone who said they were in bed and not assisting. Here's where it gets good: she brought up a huge bar for sliding under the door to open from inside, but unsure how to use it. So I went at it. 30 minutes later she suggested that we stay in another room without our things overnight. Bear in mind that my wife was sitting at the end of the hall with all our food this whole time ("Can you eat your dinner in the lobby?" Whaaaat?) and we had just done three cross country races over the weekend. My wife suggested calling either a locksmith or the fire dept (my old job). About 10 minutes after that I got the door open with the tool. So about 45 minutes of me laying on the floor and maneuvering, the only reason we got in was I was able to open the door. The best part? The next morning the totally unapologetic manager offered us a whopping 10k Hilton points, after making some crap excuse that our Diamond breakfast voucher was only 10 bucks here instead of 15 (which we'd already used two mornings without anyone saying a word). 19 years at Hiltons on three continents and I have no idea how this has a Hilton name on it. There are a ton of better hotels literally within 1/2 mile of here.

Was in town for a wedding and stayed here. Great rooms, even better staff. Good location as well. Would definitely stay again. Restaurant in hotel was serving good food too but you can always go to alot of the near by restaurant. Mall is close too. Nice amenities

Paid over $150 and breakfast wasn’t included. Seriously !!!! There were closer hotels to the event I was attending but I stayed here cause of my membership with Hilton. Never again!!!! US VETERAN 24 years of service. Disappointing !!!

Staff was friendly. They also accommodated my earlier arrival. I would definitely stay at this property again. Next time I visit Katy, Texas.

Friendly Staff ,Excellent service ,Very clean room The hotel is next to katy mills mall and Denny's restaurant and is very easy access from highway to hotel , Hotel has bar and breakfast and dinner , I am Hilton Hhonor member and I will go back again, I loved the hotel

The female bartender that rode a motorcycle was very rude, & disrespectful. I will never stay @ that property again untill i know that she no longer works there.
