I’m so disappointed with the experience and the stay. We booked for our long wait holiday. During the booking, we are not been informed the hotel was in upgrade and close 50% of the facilities. We only been informed that we cannot enjoy other facilities after check in the hotel. The first hotel room been arranged is so old and not maintained. The toilet water drain is not close and with insects coming out. The room had terrible smells. After that we’ve been transfer to another room but with same type. Obviously the smells is better due to they spray air freshener in advance. And the toilet window blind was spoilt and can’t adjusted. But the room condition is still very old and not being well maintained. We called to request upgrade the room type but the receptionist repeat that 50% of the hotel room is closed and under upgrade so do not have another room type and not even can enjoy other facilities. The breakfast was very limited and not even could reach 3 stars standard. Requested sunny side up and scramble but come will the egg that burnt. And there’s no water supply in the morning for 2 hours! The sofa and the bed was so old and not being well maintained until it’s run of shape and function. The TV function been locked and can’t connect to YouTube. We are so disappointed on the overall stay. Westin should inform us in earlier on the 50% upgrading status so we could manage our expectation when we place the booking. We are paying the same but we can’t entitle the same facilities and even worse experience is the sadness part. We can’t even have chance to enjoy the private beach that should provide by the hotel due to its close for upgrading. We booked the Westin due to the private beach. I hope the Westin really look into it! My stay is from 10 June 2026 - 13 June 2026
