"Excellent value for money"

Lovely place, fabulous staff, comfi bed and a bath which was wonderful after a week of hiking. Evening meal was excellent as well as breakfast. Fun to watch the steam train go past our window. We really enjoyed our stay! Thank you to all the staff!

Tom was a good fella, He was helpful,funny, and friendly. Ben would have gone above and beyond for you at breakfast. The breakfast was very good, plenty of it and well cooked. The room was cleaned every day. Loved our stay. Thanks to all the staff.

Just a little away from anything thing, but bus stops were close and they ran frequently.

"Fabulous staff, convenient location, but very outdated room"

The staff were great, very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was lovely, I had smoked salmon & scrambled eggs and there was lots of fresh salmon. Chef made breakfast to order and made sure we were happy with everything. The location is good with plenty of parking.

Room was very dated, shower wasn’t very good with poor pressure, shower connector didn’t work very well (so more water came out of bath tap) and shower head had lots of limescale. Rusty objects in bathroom need replacing

Everything was lovely. Staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough for us. Steam trains a plenty right next door. Breakfast was great! Wonderful place to stay.
