The view is awesome. The staff is really helpfull and kind. Rooms are very good and everything is great. The price really worth it.

The location is perfect and the views to die for. I thought the patios with pools would be a little more private but we had an end room so it wasn't as exposed as some others. The staff was fantastic and very accommodating. They were great arranging excursions and dinner reservations. Because it's not located in busy Oia or Fira it's very relaxing to come back to at the end of a day. It's also very quiet at night and early morning so it's perfect for just chilling out. It could use some upgrades. With the throngs of tourists it's not as fresh as other hotels along that strip but it was very comfortable and kept very clean and after 8 days it felt like home. They have a bar that's open day and night and offer a great breakfast but no other food options. However, not having a lunch or dinner restaurant was not an issue. You want to be out exploring the rest of the island any way. Its a good walk to Firastefani and then on to Fira but very doable. We rented an ATV which was the best way to get around. The rental agents will deliver the vehicles to your hotel which is a nice perk. We never had any issues with traffic or finding our way around the island even late at night.

Incredible sunset views, very helpful staff and a great location.

Our stay at Gizis Exclusive was amazing and everything you'd want on a honeymoon. The apartments were very clean and well maintained with our room being serviced every day. The view of the Caldera is breathtaking and allows for a wonderful view of the sunset every day. Although Oia is famous for being the "best" sunset viewing point in Santorini, Imerovigli is, in my opinion, just as good. Oh, and so much more calmer as Oia is always packed. The staff were very helpful and kind. Special mention for Elena, Dimitra and Joyce who always went the extra mile to ensure we were looked after. They also helped us arrange tours and visits around Santorini. The location isn't too far from the town centre, Fira, which is about a 10 minute drive. I would advise hiring out a car/ATV as it will make travelling much easier. There are bus stops just outside the hotel but they can take up to 20 mins to arrive. Do bear in mind that there are no food places/convenience stores within walking distance of the hotel so it would be wise to stock up from town. The breakfast was simple and to the point. Nothing too fancy or wasteful IMO. Staff were very helpful as usual. Thank you for making our stay enjoyable!

Close to the walking path and great view from the room

Gizis Exclusive was a great place to stay and we were very pleased. The front desk was extremely helpful and courteous. The bar staff was friendly and funny. Great place to stay for price. Pros: -Amazing sunset. The hotel is located on the caldera and we experienced some of the best sunsets. We essentially saw the same sunset , if not better than Oia, the town at the tip of the caldera known for having the best sunsets. -Personal hottub outside of room was great to watch sunset. -Beautiful pool with privacy from people walking on trail below. -Easy access to trail that allows you to walk to Oia and Thera. -Clean room and always fresh towels, supplied beach towels. -front desk helped arrange sunset cruise which I would highly recommend Cons: The only negative thing is can say about the hotel is that it is not directly in a town. Its about 10 minute walk to closest town (Imerovigili) where their are many great restaurants. It's about 45 minute walk to Thera which is a really great town and the walk is on a paved trail. We made the hike to Oia which took about 1.5 hours and had both uphill and downhill portions with dirt trails which can be tough, especially on hot days. However, people who stay in Thera really don't have a great view of the sunset so this hotel gave use the best of both worlds (close enough to Thera and the same sunset as Oia) Overall, it was worth the price and would definitely recommend this location.

Gizis is a great hotel that is located out of the main town. We really enjoyed the waterfront views from our room and they did provide a great buffet breakfast.

Great view would definitely visit again! Small hotel with an intimate feel. Great friendly staff and nice room. Location is a bit far from Imerovigli but is good exercise to walk there and back.
