Salad Buri Resort & Spa

Wonderful place! Amazing beach and pools. Very good service. Recommended for couples.

The rooms were lovely and spacious with an incredible view of the bay. A room with a private pool is well worth it. Towels are clean but are tired and could do with being replaced. Coffee cups with chips we're put out at breakfast, which is a minor detail but it's the little things that makes the difference between a good and great. The reception area was cluttered and seeing that it's the first impression you get on arrival could do with a tidy. The hotel staff were particularly helpful and assisted with all transport and event bookings i.e. Boxing tickets, full moon transport etc. Having breakfast outside was breathtaking as you are almost sitting on the beach. Would visit again.

So we arrived here after an exhausting day to find out that hotels.com hadn't updated their site quick enough and sold us a room that was no longer available! The team at reception was super helpful and called around to all of the resorts in the area to find us a place for the night. They really went above and beyond their call to help us out of this jam! The hotel was really lovely, on a great beach, pool room was awesome, no complaints! It's a bit of a hike to the Full Moon Party, but there's lots of taxis, just need to plan an extra 45 mins of transportation to and from!

The hotel is a new addition to the older site Salad Beach Resort, and is built on a hill on the left of the old property. That means this property is newer, better in quality and amenities. It also means it's rooms are on hills and unless going with the golf cart, you have to walk uphill or downhill, and to go to a great beach you will have to walk a few minutes, as the beach in front of the other hotel is better.

Great stay. Very helpful and friendly staff, clean, comfortable room. Breakfasts bit disappointing in quality although pancakes excellent! Hotel in general could do with upgrading.. Little bit jaded.

Cozy and quiet environment, nice restaurant by the beach like the BBQ fish.

Service was poor, they offered purchase of tickets for ferry however we discovered this was more expensive than from ferry company. Waited 30 minutes for transfer as driver was waiting around for unknown reasons. Service counter opens at 6am and our particular room was very high up so had to carry bags down as buggies not offered when leaving. Food at the restaurant was the worst meal we had eaten on our entire 2 week Thailand trip. Would not recommend

Overall a good resort but it's good if you want peace from all the bustling of full moon party. It's abit far from the centre so make sure you are willing to spend a lot of time on transportation. Stairs to the room need to be lit up more as during our stay we have to use the lights from our phones to get around coz it's pretty dark at night. A lot of steps so it's not for those who are impaired. Nice view of Haad Salad Beach, staff do understand English well enough to communicate. I was happy to know that during my late check in the room is already fully prepared. Great job.

Breakfast buffet was great, everything you could hope for. Pool was large and clean, could do with updating the umbrellas though. Restaurant was great with wide variety. Staff friendly. Could use better lighting for steps up to room, had to use phone torch at night. Steps up to room were not a massive issue but an inconvenience. Overall would recommend for a getaway and would definitely stay again.
