I had a wonderful stay at this hotel and was truly impressed by the overall experience. The staff were warm, professional, and always ready to assist with a smile. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, making it easy to relax after a long day. I especially appreciated the peaceful atmosphere and attention to detail throughout the property. The location was convenient, with easy access to nearby attractions and dining options. Breakfast was fresh and enjoyable with great view of old city of Melaka , adding to a great start each morning. I would definitely recommend this hotel and look forward to staying here again.

Excellent location. Staff could not have been more friendly & obliging. Room 108 is a nice big room overlooking the river.

Our 1-night stay at Casa del Rio Melaka started off beautifully. From the moment we arrived, the service felt genuinely warm. The front desk staff welcomed us with big smiles, a refreshing welcome drink, and a cool towel that instantly made us feel relaxed. The hotel’s environment was calm, clean, and charming, and the anniversary decorations we paid for were absolutely lovely, a heartfelt touch that made our stay feel special. We really appreciated that they took note of our request not to place any rose petals on the bed and followed it exactly as asked. Breakfast was just average, but the staff there were friendly and added warmth to the morning. However, one incident affected our overall comfort. Around 6 PM, the hotel called while our “Do Not Disturb” sign was on. My boyfriend initially approved housekeeping to come later, but within seconds I called back to cancel and clearly informed the operator that we did not need any service since we have just checked in today. Unfortunately, the team only received the first approval and never got the second call to cancel. When we returned after dinner, we were surprised to find that housekeeping had entered our room despite the DND sign being on and our personal belongings on the bed and table. Even though nothing was missing, it still left us feeling uneasy. The room simply should not have been entered after we cancelled the request. The manager Mr Qayum explained it as an internal miscommunication and offered a late check-out, which we appreciated, but it didn’t fully ease the uneasy feeling of having our room accessed after canceling the request. Casa del Rio Melaka truly has wonderful staff and a lovely atmosphere, and we enjoyed many moments during our stay. We just hope the hotel improves its internal communication so future guests can enjoy their visit without any similar concerns.

All was good. Service excellent. Food good. Room clean. Top up fresh towels and toiletries fast and prompt. Staff went out of their way to make u feel very welcome

I'm always staying in this hotel.. Because of the environment and the good staffs. The service is great. Especially my buddy farzi the manager. I so touch. His service is excellent. Now we become buddy..

As usual. It is a very relaxing place to have a few days family time. Quite and food was good. Breakfast was delicious. Dinner too. I will return again next year. See you all again. Thanks everyone.

Right smack in the middle of Bandar Hilir! One of the best work related stays I’ve had. The ambience and rooms were top-notch, but the staff really made the difference. Their attention to detail was spot on—from the food to the turn-down service and even the meeting room prep. Highly recommend!

The good Service is top notch. When we asked for housekeeping, it was attended to immediately. The room has the most scenic river view. Love the scent from the lemon grass essential oil. The location is great as its within minutes walk to historical sites and jonker street. It will be great to boat the boat for river cruise just from the hotel but it was cancelled due to bad weather. The bad: Room is too cold. Bed not as firm and comfortable. So long as one person move, the bed will make loud sound. Too many steps in the room that can easily trip. As I dont like cinnamon, the soap is a big minus too. Breakfast quality and spread can be improved.

The location was excellent, on the edge of the old town. Rooms were spacious and comfortable and service generally, excellent. The roof top pool was well maintained and beautifully sited, a welcome afternoon cool venue. The manager and staff were particularly helpful with a brief spate of illness. I would be surprised if there is anywhere better to stay in Malaka.

I would like to express my heartfelt thanks to all of you who were involved in making this event a success. Thank you for your dedication and commitment. I understand how tiring back-to-back sessions can be—having been in the training line for 11 years, I truly know the level of exhaustion that comes with running consecutive classes. Despite that, all of you attended to us with full respect, patience, and professionalism. Keep up the great work, team.
