Casa del Rio Melaka

Stayed here for a night in a Studio River King on a Sunday night, it was a spacious, extremely comfortable room with an equally spacious balcony overlooking the Melaka river where bustling activities, sights and sounds were happening. Perfect for a relaxed and soothing short getaway The amenities in the room are top notch and there was a bathtub and standing shower Check in process was very easy and smooth and they served welcome sorbet which was shaved ice with a mixture of ginger and lime. Truly refreshing during hot weather! Thanks to the reception team on duty, Aiman and Nabil who helped to make the check in process smooth! Thanks to the housekeeping team who also ensured that my room was spotless, clean and comfortable. They even had a turn down service where they re-made the bed, lighted the incense burner with lemongrass essential oil as well as the mosquito coil at the balcony Breakfast and dinner was equally great with a variety of food at The River Grill and River Cafe respectively to choose from and the prices were very affordable Overall I enjoyed my stay here!

Great located hotel just enough away from rowdy lively jonker street easy walking distance to everywhere …..had a river room great size and bathroom with bath and shower with nice sitting terrace ……it’s not a modern hotel but more heritage style with beautiful white bedding and a fab rooftop pool …for us it ticked the box

Amazing hotel, rooms are spotless and lovely and every little amenity thought of. Location is fabulous Buffet breakfast each morning was great, very good variety and plenty of food. Staff are wonderful and very helpful, nothing was an issue.

Service was excellent. Room was super comfortable. Food was well crafted. Location next to Malacca River provide aestethic view during breakfast, and astonishing view from the roof top pool to surrounding monumental buildings. Portuguese design hotel gave us exotic vibe. We never slept this well during holiday. They provide a history of Malacca book - which I have not finished but its good one. Location is super strategic, realy at the centre of everything all in walking distance..Recommended place to stay.

We had an absolutely lovely stay at Casa del Rio Melaka. From the moment we checked in, everything felt so welcoming and calm. The hotel itself is beautiful clean rooms, comfortable beds, and such a peaceful view of the river. Every corner of the place has a warm and charming atmosphere that makes you want to stay longer. But what really made our experience special was the incredible hospitality from Mr. Faiz. He was genuinely kind, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. You can tell he really cares about the guests not just doing his job, but going out of his way to make sure we felt comfortable and happy throughout our stay. His thoughtfulness and friendly attitude truly stood out and made us feel at home. Thank you so much, Mr. Faiz, for making our trip so memorable. People like you are the reason guests keep coming back. We’ll definitely be recommending Casa del Rio to our family and friends, and we can’t wait to return again soon.

Faiz is the best.. All staff are friendly. Been coming a few times here. Is a fabulous place to relax and chill. Food was fantastic.

Great location. Just a stone throw away from Jonker street night market and the heritage market located across the river. Rooms and the baths were well maintained and clean. Amenities provided were excellent. Complimentary breakfast was very good. The "infinity" rooftop swimming pool offers a great view of the Melaka River. Service staff, Farisya and hotel ambassador Bob were professional, friendly and helpful. 10/10 recommend everyone to stay in this hotel while in Melaka.
