"Good location"

8.0

Based on what we payed we were satified with what we got. On the upside the room was cheap and clean with a good location. The staff was helpful. On the downside the room was very small and the bed a bit narrow and not very comfortable. No tv in the room but a small kitchenette with a fridge.

"Excellent Choice"

10.0

The hotel is very conveniently located with just a five minute walk to or from the Nice Ville train station. Upon arrival I was greeted by a friendly face who registered me and helped me get my baggage into the small elevator. The room was small and compact but very clean and welcoming. The small kitchen was stocked with all the essentials required to prepare a meal and eat it including pots, pans, cutlery, and dishes. Dish washing soap was also provided. There is also a small refrigerator. As well the bed proved to be quite comfortable. The outside street gets noisy fairly early but that is no reflection on the hotel. It is just the city waking up. All in all, very pleasant. The woman working the reception area in the morning was very helpful with supplying maps and information on local sights. And very friendly, too. The only drawback was the wifi reception. Wifi did not pick up very well in the room, but sitting at the top of the stairs outside the room fixed that minor problem. Everything considered Le Petite Louvre provided excellent value for the cost. It appeared to me to be safe and sound. I would not hesitate to stay again or to recommend the hotel.

"A broom cupboard in a good location"

2.0

The location is the only good thing about this place. The shower had mould growing everywhere, no soap was provided. The shower head was broken and needed replacing. The mini kitchen only had 2 old pots so making tea or coffee was difficult. The bed was cheap, the aircon. was struggling, no lift and very expensive for lees than 9 square metres.

"Great location"

8.0

Fantastic location, tram and train very close. Very friendly staff. Very basic hotel but great to have some cooking facility and there is a fantastic Monoprix just metres away on the main shopping strip.

"Perfectly located between train station and beach"

8.0

After having read the reviews left by fellow travellers, my expectations were rather low.... But they needn't have been! Yes, I have stayed in bigger rooms (we booked the double studio with sofa bed), but have paid more as well. The Sofa bed was very comfortable, the bathroom clean and the kitchen perfectly adequate for what we wanted to do (make coffee in the morning and have a bit of breakfast). The Wi-fi worked fine in the room - it would appear only one person can log in per room, but you can 'borrow' the login of anyone else on the floor as these are easily guessed. The staff was very friendly and helpful and I would return here any time.

"Tiniest room ever"

8.0

All in all, we enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The rooms were the smallest we've seen anywhere and the bathroom could have used some mildew spray. However, the value for money was hard to beat.

"Small room on main street"

4.0

Note that the room comes with a pull out sleeper couch which is not very comfortable and takes up the majority of space in the room. You are getting a studio apartment here with a small kitchenette and fold out dining tables but the room itself is very small. The street the hotel is on is a short walk from the SNCF station but the street is also littered and doesn't smell the best. It is also about a 10-15 minute walk from some of the main attractions in Nice. The hotel building is old and room cleaning is every few days rather than every day. I think I would try to find a true hotel experience if I was staying for a few days, unless you are planning to buy food and cook during your stay.

"Amazingly rude owner"

You get what you pay for but the owner exploded and in her own words doesn't care about the guests' happiness

"dirty, smelly, and tiny room"

2.0

Terrible place. The bedsheets and comfort were dirty. The room smelled like someone stewed lamb for a month with bad smells that last forever. The front desk told me there is nothing they could do. The elevator was like from 18th century. The room was so tiny that you cannot turn around. The shower was so small that if you turn around in the shower, you body touches and turn off the water. I am not even big and heavy (155 lbs). Worst experience ever and never would go to this place again.

"Good things come in Petit packages!"

10.0

We had been staying somewhere else in Nice and had to leave for the uncleanliness of the place. Petit Louvre was an extremely welcomed change, small room but still a comfortable stay! The staff were very friendly and helpful with everything we needed!
