The A. Venue Hotel

Friendly hotel staff, good location as it is near a mall/supermarket and good restaurants, good selection of buffet breakfast. Drawbacks: hot and cold shower too difficult to adjust, and there is no spot in the room, not even the bathroom,with proper lighting where you can put your makeup on.

I stayed overnight in a room with twin beds from 3/2 11 pm~3/3 12 pm. I was especially disappointed with the wifi not having a strong signal by the bedside, and the beds squeaking everytime I try to move. That experience was not worth for the price I paid for an overnight stay.

Great hotel in a great location. We stayed here mainly because of the availability of pools and location. When we arrived they didn’t actually have us booked in to the A. Venue eventhough this is where we booked on Expedia. They moved us next door to the ‘serenity suites’ which was also nice did have a decent, smaller pool; however, we were not allowed to use the pool in the A.Venue hotel as we had thought. Overall I would recommend staying here, was just a bit disappointed about the whole pool situation. We travelled half way across the world and wanted to relax for a few days near a nice pool and were just disappointed to see that we weren’t allowed to use it. The photos of the hotel on Expedia do show 2 different pools so we assumed that we could use them both. all in all, great place and great location; photos were just a bit misleading

The hotel looks nice and seems to be part of a good quality complex, but it has many flaws. Worst for me was the poor and very unreliable WiFi/Internet signal, which would come and go and could be out for long periods, and very spotty most of the time. The air conditioners were very loud and worked poorly. The breakfast had little variety of food. The shower was in very poor shape. It wasn't a disaster, and the price ($60 per night) isn't too far off the mark for this caliber hotel, but I wouldn't go back, as there are better places in that area of Makati for about the same cost.

Air conditioner wasn’t working 100% especially in the bedroom Remote control missing

Had a relaxing stay. Nice and clean room. Spacious living area. Wifi's fast in some areas within the room but that's okay. Bathroom's okay as well, love the hot shower but too sad it doesn't have bidet in it. Didn't go to swimming area because a lot of people were there that time. We will come back again the soonest and recommend it to friends.
