The A. Venue Hotel

Booked 2 rooms, and we had to change rooms an hour after checking in because 1 room had faulty airconditioning, while the other room had a faulty door lock. Transferred to different towers multiple times, had to unpack then repack again because of this! Was really inconvenient, and the staff were barely apologetic despite the hassle we had to go through due to all the room switching we had to do. Rooms we’re ok, location was good, but wouldn’t stay here again.

The A. Venue Hotel made my first trip to the Philippines since I was 4 y/o. The hotel staff was very helpful in suggesting places to visit as well as places to stay away from. There are numerous restaurants within walking distance. The room was comfortable and fulfilled all of our personal needs. Will definitely consider staying here for our return visit. Thank you A. Internet slow, staff rubbish.

Great location with anything you need close by. Only negative thing i can say is the bathroom does not have a bum gun.

I was pleasantly surprised by the room I received. It was comfortable. The AC worked well. The wifi was good. The bathroom was clean and large. The hotel is conveniently located. It's a 15 minute walk to the main malls (SM, Glorietta, Landmark, Greenbelt. Take a jeep is you don't want to walk). About the same to The Power Plant at Rockwell (Go to this mall. It's upscale and quieter). Century Mall is a 2 minute walk away. I hear this mall is quiet also. The hotel's pool seems nice, though I did not swim. Food options are varied. There is a convenience store next to the hotel. Across the street, there is a market. The staff was helpful and professional. To me, this hotel represented a great value.

I have stayed here once before when it was still brand new but over the years nothing has changed to help maintain the appearance of the rooms. The conditions of the room from 1-10 I give it a 5. We saw two small roaches in the living room and shower.

Location is good, however, the area isn’t very safe to walk at night so be careful from getting robbed ! This hotel lacks proper maintenance since we found the shower head was broken, also the telephone at the room wasn’t working so we had to ask for replacement. I requested two bedroom suite with two queen size bed but the hotel doesn’t have availability neither they bring another queen size bed “for a fee”. The facilities are pretty basic and don’t bother to go to the pool or the restaurant since you’ll find great places to eat outside. I wouldn’t stay at A Venue again because I’ve stayed in it 3 years ago and there’s no improvment whatsoever. Hope this will help both hotel management and future guests.
