"Great hotel for the price!"

8.0

Pros: Great room, clean and comfortable. A heater is available. Kitchen provides silverware, pans, and plates. Great location: a variety of restaurants, a Starbucks close by, museum and parks. Cons: Some plugins do not work, and some light-bulbs do not work or there is none.

"Apartment in Santiago central, perfect for groups"

10.0

As a person who hates hostels, this place was amazing. It's an apartment complex, and the office itself and the room you get assigned are apartment units; it's not an independently owned building. It was really awesome for the money.

"Santiago has a very good apart hotel"

10.0

The hotel was clean, the front desk was very helpful. The property is beginning to show a little wear. It could stand some paint, but it was a minor inconvenience.

"Good choice for a clean stay & great security"

8.0

A very nice apartment in a great area of town. It was a little chilly in our room, and the windows didn't close very tightly, which let cool air in. However, there was a mobile heater that we could move from room to room. Our freezer obviously hadn't been defrosted in years, because it didn't even let the fridge shut properly until we have out inches of ice. Overall though, this was a magnificent bargain. Each room had a keypad, and each apartment had a phone that could directly call the building security.

"Great location!!! Clean and well-priced!"

8.0

Chileapart is within walking distance to most of the main tourist attractions. The apartment was on the small side, but with a decent bathroom. There's a public terrace with a nice view of the city and an indoor pool (not heated). Sometimes it is hard to get the reception desk on the phone to resolve problems or get help. Tower C, where we stayed, has construction going on in the building next door. Very loud from 8-6!

"Home from home"

8.0

Couldn't fault this apartment. Was exactly what we asked for... But we did forget to ask for air conditioning, which was an issue in 35degree heat. Make sure you ask for that. Otherwise, great location for the major attractions, pool on the roof and laundry are both bonuses!

"Would stay again"

6.0

We arrived at a large residential building and were handed an envelope by the doorman. It appeared to be the beginning of a scavenger hunt, but it wasn't. Chileapart hotel is a collection of scattered apartments owned by apparently the same business. It was a little confusing, but it works. Even with travel fatigue, we figured it out quickly. The room was clean, surprisingly comfortable and spacious. The balcony was nice and we found everything that we needed. The safe didn't work, and the cleaning staff that came while we were out didn't touch the large amount of cash and computer equipment that my husband had left very obviously in the open. Kudos for honest staff (my reason for giving 5 stars for hotel service). There is a booklet on the kitchen table (which I found the last day of the stay), and it has a ton of useful information in it about the city and hotel, and all the resources included, like a pool we could have used, a Laundromat we could have used, etc. The shower was super nice and the kitchen space was great too. No AC, but we opened the windows at night and turned on the fan provided, and we were very comfortable. The neighborhood is nice and the location is SUPER convenient.

"Location is close to the historical city."

4.0

Arrived there and met by door security who could not speak English. Found some helpful guest who spoke English and explained that we had to visit the 8th floor to check in. Did so only to find that that staff also did not speak English. Not able to check in as we were early. Left our luggage there - they simply placed in a room with no tags or checks and balances. Unit is very small but it does have a kitchen and a fridge. Tiny balcony is quaint especially after a tiring day in the town.
