Great location, helpful and professional staff. Food and drink were excellent

Cold room with outdated and cold bathroom. Plug in electric heaters not acceptable. Staff not very helpful. Room not as requested but this was rectified.

The Black Lion has a lot going for it: a great bar area with some local real ales, some lovely, tastefully furnished rooms and a seamlessly run restaurant serving good food. A particular mention here goes to the manager Cyril, who brought French flair and discreet efficiency to the restaurant. His team were equally amenable. All in all, a very pleasant stay.

There were a few problems with some old pipes creating much noise in the room but to their credit, the staff were very responsive when we raised this issue.

Wir haben nicht damit gerechnet ein so gutes Pub - Hotel in diesem kleinen Dorf vorzufinden den. Toller Service sehr freundlich sehr gutes Frühstück. Interessante Umgebung. Ein sehr schönes gepflegtes Dorf

Alles war gut!!!!!

Breakfast was great - and great choices. But coffee was awful, although we upgraded to cappuccino for extra cost and that was fine
