Occidental Jandía Royal Level - Adults Only

The food was very good - no complaints! Location excellent and wasy to find.

Just returned from a fantastic 2 week stay. Staff are so friendly, rooms are clean and very comfy. The food is lovely and the restaurant is very peaceful. Marc & Marius in the Verde bar gave a top service as did Jose at Bar Atlantico. All staff at the hotel work hard for the guests. Marieanna, the guest manager is always on hand and so friendly and accommodating

We have stayed in this hotel on several occasions before and have always enjoyed our stays. The food is good, the staff are brilliant, especially, on this visit, Daniel and Gennifer in the buffet Atlantico and Marianne on the Royal level reception. All the staff are helpful, friendly and efficient in keeping the hotel exceptionally clean and comfortable. The rooms are a good size, the sea view rooms have incredible views over the very impressive nearby beach and the beds are comfortable. We have reserved a suite for this coming September and look forward very much to our next stay

It was wonderful to return to the Royal Level for my fourth stay, and as always, I had a great time. I've enjoyed my previous stays so much that on this occasion, I convinced my family to come too. I also opted to this time book direct, however I didn't notice a difference in booking with a package. My feedback is especially for fellow repeat guests of the Royal Level, as there have been some notable changes since my last visit. The most significant and truly impressive improvement has been the food. This is, without a doubt, the best all-inclusive food I have ever experienced. Every single meal, across all three sittings, was of exceptional quality. This is a remarkable leap from just two years ago. Even the main hotel has seen positive changes in its culinary offerings, particularly the snack bar, which now boasts delicious proper beef burgers, stone-baked pizzas, and Magnum ice creams. While the food has seen a phenomenal upgrade, I did notice a change in the drinks selection. Top shelf brands like Grey Goose, Tanqueray Ten, and Peroni are no longer part of the all-inclusive package. However, in my personal opinion, this compromise is entirely worth it for the vastly improved food quality (and no panic, other brands like Hendriks gin and Jack Daniels were still on the menu 😁). My primary concern, and one I hope the management will address, is the apparent lack of investment in the hotel's infrastructure. As a guest who has been visiting for eight years, the only noticeable change I've observed in the overall structure has been updated headboards. For a complex built in the 1970s, this is simply not enough. The hotel is starting to feel quite run down, and while my stays are always enjoyable, the current state of the facilities makes me hesitant to return. My sincere hope is that the management considers a major renovation, perhaps even closing for a year to undertake a comprehensive overhaul. I genuinely cherish my memories here and would be absolutely thrilled to return in the future, but only if significant improvements are made to the hotel's infrastructure. I am hopeful that this beloved resort will regain its former glory and continue to welcome guests for many years to come.

Just returned from our 4th visit to Occidental Jandia Royal Level. When we arrived we had a warm welcome from David and a welcome drink while he checked us in. Once checked in we were guided to our deluxe sea view room which was very clean, with a well stocked minibar. The pool area was very clean with plenty of sun lounger’s, and very peaceful. Pool bar served a wide range of cocktails and branded drinks. Buffet restaurant had a very good range of food with plenty of hot & cold options, plus freshly cooked meats & fishes. The A’La Cart restaurant was amazing, serving over 5 nights a set themed menu. All the bar and restaurant staff were very friendly and helpful, especially Daniel, Ishmael, Christian, and Mark. A special thank you to Marianna for another perfect stay. We will be returning for our 5th visit in 2026 😁😁😎

This is our go to second home when have a vacation in Europe. All of the staff always do everything they can to make our stay memorable. We always make sure sure that where ever our travels take us a detour to Fuerteventura and the Occidental Jandia Royal Level Adults Only is in our plans.

The Occidental Jandia Royal Level was outstanding in every way. The room was beautiful and clean and had every facility you needed for the perfect stay. The cleanliness throughout the whole property was top class. The food and service and quality and selection was absolutely fabulous served with delicious wines. Breakfast was outstanding again an amazing selection of food, fruits, yoghurts eggs cook however you wish by the amazing chefs. All staff were friendly and especially Juanaita and Christian who were both professional and an utter joy to know and they looked after us both wonderfully. The A la Carte restaurant was available for Royal Level guests throughout the holiday and they offered a set themed menu each evening which we did try more than once but the food was not to our taste but everyone is different so you need to judge this for yourself but we preferred the Royal Level restaurant. Pool area lovely and the pool bar was brilliant and was run by a super team of people making the most delicious cocktails. Sunbeds a plenty and the pool area is tranquil and relaxing. Fabulous entertainment every evening. We can honestly say that this is one of the best Barcelo 4* All Inclusive hotels we have stayed at in the Canary Islands and we will definitely make the Occidental Jandia Royal Level our first choice with Jet 2 for 2026. Had an enjoyable week away . Went half board . Not a fan of buffet dining so we were pleased to to have the option of the table service restaurant. Could not really fault the hotel for the price we paid. The spa was a treat. Quite a walk to the beach ( which was lovely golden soft sand ), the hotel provides a shuttle bus . Adults only pool quiet and peaceful. Only slight niggle the Sun lounger early morning grab and to be fair the hotel requested people to refrain from doing this in the room information. Mini bar stocked on arrival , beer , soft drinks, wine ,water. Water replenished twice daily . Would recommend for a restful holiday. We had to wait in very long queues at Fueterventura passport control as there were only two/ three people checking passports therefore if you are elderly on have small children book assistance. There are unused automatic passport readers.

Was quiet and spacious, lovely restaurants and friendly happy staff. Nice location and walks to and along the beach, great place to chill and enjoy the refreshments which are plentiful !
