Hampton Inn - Burlington

Quite possibly the worst service I have ever received from the front desk of a hotel. They would not check me in unless my husband was here because he made the reservation. No offer to call me or anything. “Policies” was the excuse. Absolutely horrid customer service. It’s like I’m living in the 1950’s. Hilton should be ashamed. Please fire your totally incompetent night staff.

The location was good for my plans in Burlington. The day clerk was friendly and helpful.

The room looks tired. I had difficulty finding a comfortable temperature as it didn’t seem to handle the humidity. The sheets seem quite worn although the pillows were nice. The tub had a lot of dark hair in it. As I I was ready for the shower and needed to get going, I cleaned the tub. They didn’t thoroughly clean the floor in the bathroom, either. I told the front desk and they sent someone to clean later. The same few things were still in the corner of the bathroom floor after that. The room wasn’t well lit. There were noises during the night. One constant through the night , both nights, sounded like heavy bearing going back and forth, constantly. I didn’t hear it during the day. The first night was another mechanical-type sound, too. The second morning the person across the hall set their alarm for 6:00 AM and let it ring for 10 minutes. I tried to call the front desk, but the line was busy. I wish I hadn’t been able to hear from the other room so clearly.

The breakfast offered was good. liked the option of freshly cooked porridge. Coffee was good but prefer real cream to fake.

Would prefer bacon over sausage. Scrambled eggs over hard cooked.

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a wonderful experience thanks to the exceptional service provided by the manager, Jessica Tawwater. From the moment I arrived, Jessica was professional, friendly, and incredibly helpful. Her attention to detail and dedication to ensuring my stay was comfortable did not go unnoticed. I truly appreciate her efforts in making my stay memorable. I highly recommend this hotel and commend Jessica for her outstanding hospitality

I love this property simply because it’s neat and clean. And close to my daughter - she lives in Burlington. Also I lived in Burlington for awhile and love the area. Thank you to the staff for the comfortable surroundings and the quiet.

Was put in the “dog” room that smelled like urine and wet dog. Room was also extremely loud. Didn’t sleep the first night. Asked to be moved to quiter room and was told management that I was lying. Manager then came to the room and heard the room. She transferred me to a room that was fight next to a train track. Got no sleep the second night. Both workers have no business working in customer service.

Very friendly staff. Room was clean and comfortable bed. Easy to get to location. Kitchen staff was over the top incredible person.

Friendly people, good lo action, but needs an update. Towels are thin, no mini fridge in eoom

The shower had great water pressure and the water got nice and hot.

Poor continental breakfast. No fridge. Bed was uncomfortable.
