Chapman pool room excellent very cozy. Ideal location for Purbeck walks food delicious and perfect view of Corfe Castle from the pub garden. Staff friendly and kind Excellent, exceptional service.

Very unique old inn full of character.with low ceilings in parts. May wish to check this out for your best room if very tall. Great garden with views over to Corfe Csstle

As expected in a very old building, no.lifts and uneven flooring.This was all.well signed but you do need to take extra care of any mobility issues..

Frühstück war nicht so gut.Braucht nicht viel sein,aber Pulverkaffee muss nicht sein .Für 2 Nächte ok.

The staff were very helpful. Rooms very large and would be ideal for longer stay. Bed extremely soft. Clean and tidy.

Young chef never turned up for work so breakfast was disappointing but the lady was so apologetic and we had cereal and toast.

Beautiful location, surprisingly quiet, spacious room, parking available.

Somewhat tatty decor (eg mould on window frames, rusty damage to the bath). Felt like a pub room not maintained. Overpriced for that reason but the overall experience was excellent, the room was otherwise clean and comfortable, and the location makes it.

Slow service at the bar. Staff could not be found at times. Mugs would be better in rooms rather than small cups to make drinks.

Staff were very friendly. Breakfast was good though would have liked more coffee and an earlier start time

We last stayed about 15 years ago when we liked it very much. It now feels a bit shabby and in need of an upgrade. I appreciate that the financial environment is very difficult.
