Old Thorns Golf Resort And Spa

Venue was beautiful but no air con made our stay unbearable. It was a huge relief that there was Aircon in the restaurant in the morning too and the breakfast was great.

Do NOT stay here on a heatwave. The room was so hot me and my partner did not sleep a wink. No air cons in the room, just a tall fan that blew next to no air out of it.

The resort is lovely and in a great area with lovely staff

The rooms have no Aircon and when we turned up there was no aircon in the whole hotel as it broke and was about 30 degrees. We struggled to sleep as the rooms were soo hot.

Excellent location- we stay to go to the pub at the end of the road - which is very close to walk to and is excellent

No air conditioning, dated, expensive and no hair conditioner in the bathroom

We went for an overnight spa stay at the hotel. We got pretty much all day access to the spa on the day of our treatment and to the pool and wellness suite all day on both days all free of charge and really quiet and relaxing. The spa treatments were both amazing- big shoutout to Annalise as I had the best massage and treatment I’ve ever had from her! Dinner in the Kings Restaurant was lovely and again the service was incredible so thank you to Anya for waiting on us! Overall it was a fantastic stay at an amazing place for a great price- would 100% recommend and come again.

The grounds are beautiful, room was a good size, bed was massive and the breakfast was good. Enjoyed using the pool too. Staff were all very friendly.

It was a bit expensive but to be honest once we were there we did forget about that.
