Excellent location for local shops & bus stop to go to Truro, very good local fish & chip shop, plenty of parking, safe & secure.

Located next to a pedestrian mall with lots of stores and restaurants. Plenty of off street parking

We stayed overnight and was completely satisfied with accommodation and service from staff, who were excellent.

Had a great stay here for a couple nights. On arrival we found free/easy plentiful parking facilities followed by a very simple/no hassle check in process and friendly welcome (we were shown to our room in 2 minutes!!). Very clean/fresh/well equipped room with 2 comfortable double beds (only small gripe would be that room was a little hot and couldn't open fixed window). Pub itself also very clean inside and out, plenty of friendly/helpful staff on hand in all areas at all times and food was lovely (wish we could of sampled more off the menu but breakfasts and curries we did have were great). Location was good, easy to find with a large Co-op supermarket right next door and generally very quiet. Will defo return if in the area again, great value for overall quality...9/10.

Nice enough room, comfortable bed and good shower. If being picky, could possibly do with a lick of paint. Food was good and a good selection of drinks at the bar. Good atmosphere and service from the staff

The staff are really friendly, breakfast was lovely with a good choice of food,, we had a meal the firs night and it was lovely the car very looked amazing we could see some of the customers meals all of which looked good, only problem we had was the room was a small, we were there for a week ,the TV was on the wall and when we made tea we would keep hitting our head we hung a cloth on the side of the tv ,, also because of the way the beds were were we kept banging our toes on the leg “really painful Got the bruising to prove it”we were there for a week so really would have liked the room to have been bigger for us,

All the staff were excellent, very helful and courteous.

Lovely comfortable room and the food delicious. Staff all friendly and welcoming. The only slight grump was that the fire alarm went off briefly both nights for a few seconds after we'd gone to bed. We don't know why.

very enjoyable stop, excellent location for touring local areas and national trust gardens.Carvery meal was excellent but we had meal of the menu and it was not as good

Great room, lovely meal. All the staff were extremely pleasant & helpful. Would definitely recommend.
