Nice and quiet

Good location. Room was basic and a little dated. However it provided a decent bed, a bath and good powerful shower, free parking in a good location and a nice breakfast. Could not get into hotel to check in until 4.30pm so more of a B&B than hotel. But for what we paid, it was good value for money
my son forgot key in the room. he called manager, but she said it is not her problem, she is not going to send anybody to open the room and she disconnected the phone. My son had no choice, just to sleep on the floor at his room door. But eventually, after about one hour somebody came to open the door.
Booking in was torturous. Mirror failing of the wall. Shower area dirty. Water pressure low. Bed was way beyond time to be replaced. An item window was slammed shut without comment by the owner. The best area was not open at the appointed time. Gave up after 10 minutes had passed.
Location was perfect for what we needed. Walking distance to town centre.
It's OK for an overnight stay.

It was last minute booking but could do with sink at least in bathroom as it’s a shared bathroom and was a bit of a pain when you needed to fill kettle
